How the Pop and Win 1-UP game works: As soon as it shows Press A to pump, it starts a timer for how fast you pumped it to determine how may 1-UPs you get. The timer starts at 3:53 not at 3:57 when the pumping actually started. The game thinks that it took about 7 seconds to pop when it's expecting 3-4 seconds for the max reward. That's why those rewards never seem to work out.
I was thinking the same thing the moment I saw that the first level had that red dot indicating branching paths. Hidden paths would be SO much fun in MM2.
While it certainly doesn't compare to just actually having alternate exits, you could sort of emulate it. Make two levels that are exactly the same except for how you reach the goal. One is the normal exit where you just get to the goal, the other is the alternate exit where the goal is blocked and you have to find a hidden door or pipe or something to get to it.
This world was just getting better and better, combined with Ryu it's another great video. To the level creator: you could work on indicators and decorations. Some levels were really fun to watch

Every level is optional (except the last castle of each world) 5. Mainly traditional, speedrun and kaizo levels. 6. Expert/super expert difficulty.

Does the Frog Suit seem exciting? It really just turns Mario into Legend of Zelda if you think about it, in an underwater level anyway. Frog moves in all directions, so it's just Zelda without a sword.
