The sin of lukewarmness is not unforgivable, there's only one sin that wicked, final unrepentance, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. However, the punishment for acedia, the despair, and unwillingness to take part in the spiritual battle, is one of the few recorded in the Apocalypse, in Revelation 3:16 " But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, nor hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth." Truly the most terrifying of fates: completely rejected by God, erased from His love entirely. The mood of this piece, both the original and this amazing rendition, captures that sensation. In the context of the game, that's also why Amy says "Unforgivable!", because she knew it was too late for John Ward to walk back from the road he took. He allowed himself to be afraid, Gary to win, the Profane Sabbath to take place without even attempting to change, without even wishing to put his life on the line now that he was directly involved. And the Devil destroyed him completely: first by showing him the wooden effigies of the twins, which never existed, thus proving him he ran away for nothing (as his mission was to rescue them, but backed away), and then swallowing him whole into Hell, having conquered over the city and John's soul. He was utterly destroyed... The FAITH trilogy has got me good, especially the worst ending. You made my favorite song in the game even better. Tragically beautiful remix ❤️ Btw, I came from here after seeing your art on Twitter! Love your art as well!!
This ending is the reason why I love Faith so much. It stroke me to the very core even without religeous background. Even without believing in Hell, I felt the cold wind on my spine... Human by itself is very short living animal, but their actions and consequences of them can live forever (no matter good or bad it is). Even when human biologically dies and their brain stops to work, the image of this person still lives in what they did. As long as someone remebers about them, they will be the timeless idea, which makes them immortal. But if you left nothing after yourself, your image will dissapear at the same moment as you... Domnatio Memoriae... Domnation of the memory... The worst thing you can do in the entiry game about Satanism and fighting with demons... is to give up and lost your hope... Just sit and do nothing until the abyss will take your body, soul, mind and any other trace of your existence. John was too afraid to face his own problems, which caused the whole world to burn. Good ending makes it even worse, because we know that John is strong enough to defeat even the Unspeakable and Unholy Trinity, but he just was too afraid to try... _"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph... is for good men to do nothing"_ This makes me feel the most terrifiyng feeling in the world. This is the actaul horror. Not a short fear from jumpscare, but the deep feeling that consumes your mind from the inside for minutes, hours and days... It's terrifying because you can't stop thinking about it... Just like Violence layer in ULTRAKILL, it scares, because it's a REAL horror... This is the most terrifying game I have ever played... And it makes me stronger than before...

Thank you so much tbh you deserve more recognition for your amazing pieces and thank you personally because you are also one of the reasons I am motivated to continue playing violin YOU'RE AMAZING
This song desperately needs an organ cover. A massive cathedral organ. Because it's not a melancholy song, it is about complete and utter hate, a total moral failure, where God and the Devil shake hands and say "You aren't worthy of any kindness or forgiveness." A song sung by those who you've failed, and wish nothing more than your complete annihilation.
i actually found out about the faith game through this song ! followed for omori content and i love your work as a whole in general ! thank you for doing what you do !!!
Hey, i love this remix! Could i use it for a d&d game? Next session is going to be about the consequences of the party's inaction over the looming threat and this fits soooo perfectly in the mood.
Have never played the game and am no big specialist, but this theme makes defeat sound far too epic, far too great, you can't exactly feel like you're being forgotten here as the title will say, but instead, it feels as if you die on a weak, albeit big bang. Don't get me wrong, this song is a banger, love this sort of epic stuff, but it just doesn't quite feel like a silent defeat
To contextualize better what I mean, I think Rachmaninoff's work or Verkartle Nacht are both great examples at showcasing dread and defeat, if it would be possible to replicate a similar tone in piece, I think it'd be worth of a trigger warning ngl
This ending makes John the apotheosis of created inadequacy. He is literally being unmade, because not even Hell claims his soul. It's not worth the energy to torture. If that's how the devil and his angels feel about him, imagine how much more disappointed God must feel
I LOVE THIS!!! Still one of my personal favourite songs that you've made :D I know this was uploaded a while back; but is there a possibility of this ever releasing on spotify?
All though he did not saved the world, he tried to in a way, but never confronted his past. To finish what he started, either too scared or not experienced.
If you read, know this version, and your art is not a masterpiece, but beyond it, the climax to the violin ( although it would be interesting to hear an organ version) is fucking gut retching to the point of feeling absolutely cold in my very own skin. Your art is horrifically strong, the grey instead of the blue and the red strings thar bind him ( me personally, i would change it to chains ) Seriously, jesus, the fact that you have 100k is an insult to the talent you possess because it should be 10 million or 1 million Infinite/10

Kinda wild how his humanity can equally do great things as shown with the true ending, or nothing as shown with the bad ending.
Like real life our our choices can make a difference, but our own fears of the unknown can dictate what we pick
Original maked me feel... empty. This one legit maked me cry 😭😭. Hell of a job, friend, masterpiece!
You made my favorite song in the game even better. Tragically beautiful remix ❤️
Btw, I came from here after seeing your art on Twitter! Love your art as well!!
DESPAIR
To be forgotten is worse than death.
Absolutely beautiful
this is just beautiful...
awesome cover
its just
so good
i get goosebumps every time i hear your music.
my favorite soundtrack from the trilogy! the game and music is outstanding and you did it justice.
_"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph... is for good men to do nothing"_
This makes me feel the most terrifiyng feeling in the world.
OMG I really REALLY love this one, you did an amazing job, everything is stunning. You inspire me when I create song and illustration. Thank you for sharing your art !
this remix AND this art? you're so amazing, keep up the great work
Действительно отличная музыка для плохой концовки
Нечестивая суббота произошла
Вторая смерть была призвана в этот мир
Малфас был призван в этот мир
Гэри выполнил свой план
my favorite song, damnation daniel
also I LOVE ALL OF YOUR MUSIC :) ty for another masterpiece as always
What is even worse, is that in the game, you see your neighbors slaughtered and hanging in their houses. Showing what you have done.
Neither light nor dark want those who would shrivel into their own cowardice and self loathing
And so was John cast into the void, his name and his works never to be uttered. That is what Damnatio Memoriae means. To be so unwanted that your name and deeds are to be considered profanity to utter.
Thank you for making this beautiful cover of one of my favorite video game songs! Faith is seriously one of my favorite games, the story is so intricate and intriguing, I’m not even into most horror but Faith is truly an awesome game ^^
*Silently stands up and applauds*
This arrangement is incredible carrot!! Not only are you a great artist but an amazing musician too!
Glad at how far you’ve come carrot
your music is amazing
Thank you so much tbh you deserve more recognition for your amazing pieces and thank you personally because you are also one of the reasons I am motivated to continue playing violin YOU'RE AMAZING
This cover sent chills down my whole body
I dunno why but listening to this makes me wanna bawl, it's so beautiful
Love FAITH. Haven't played it yet but I really want to.
Another new Survival Horror you oughta check out is SIGNALIS.
Will definitely check the game out
This song desperately needs an organ cover. A massive cathedral organ.
Because it's not a melancholy song, it is about complete and utter hate, a total moral failure, where God and the Devil shake hands and say "You aren't worthy of any kindness or forgiveness." A song sung by those who you've failed, and wish nothing more than your complete annihilation.
i actually found out about the faith game through this song ! followed for omori content and i love your work as a whole in general ! thank you for doing what you do !!!
i've never played faith before, but i love this soundtrack so much. this is beautiful
THIS WAS SO GOOD??? this so describes this ending and wow it just rips my heart out 😭
Wow, I just listened to your music (mourn) and then I get a notification about your new video. As always, the music is great!
i love this, thanks for making this
also your art is so good!!!
This remix is amazing!!
Both music and artwork are amazing, keep it up!
Hey, i love this remix!
Could i use it for a d&d game?
Next session is going to be about the consequences of the party's inaction over the looming threat and this fits soooo perfectly in the mood.
Timmy's fate was a warning.
Yessss i wanted a piano rendition of this song! Thanks!
TFW when clearing IS2 Ending 3(Troupe Mouthpiece), Feels like Phantom has Returned to That Hell again
Remix goes hard, feel free to steam workshop it
Very Nice 🖤
This is a remix bud
mor✝is
This ending makes John the apotheosis of created inadequacy. He is literally being unmade, because not even Hell claims his soul. It's not worth the energy to torture. If that's how the devil and his angels feel about him, imagine how much more disappointed God must feel
holy fucking shit
that was incredible
Coffinite boulders fly
Pillars of pyre among horizon
Ashes fall from sky
Earth is hell from now on
I LOVE THIS!!! Still one of my personal favourite songs that you've made :D
I know this was uploaded a while back; but is there a possibility of this ever releasing on spotify?
i literally heard someone play this at the mall like few weeks ago. literally amazing
Holy shit! I was playing it yesterday! Good Timing carrot!
Your art is horrifically strong, the grey instead of the blue and the red strings thar bind him ( me personally, i would change it to chains )
Seriously, jesus, the fact that you have 100k is an insult to the talent you possess because it should be 10 million or 1 million
Infinite/10
OMG THIS IS INCREDIBLE HELLO???
Что самое важное человек может оставить после себя?
Память...
Но...
Если лишить мира этой памяти...
Hi! I have a question. Will you post your remixes on Spotify? I would like to listen to them there, I love your music!
I can connect to this because my life didn't have a happy ending, more of a bitter sweet.
Ending bro tf u aint dead?
You didn't hear the bell yet
Happy New Years
John is a lesson in finishing what you started
