  • Acustica Audio Amethyst 4 is a high-performance channel strip giving you the warm sound of some celebrated British consoles from the late 70s and early 80s.
Amethyst channel strip includes three sections: a preamp, an equalizer plus filters, and a dynamic processor. Each of these sections is also available as a single plug-in for extended versatility.
We've tried it on the MP MIDI Controller and it sounds AMAZING!!!

I’m sorry but I can’t be excited about this controller anymore. I am seeing too many “1 to 2” videos on this thing for the last 6 months or so. I am not seeing any deep dives on this thing (e.g., integration with Ableton, apple pcs with the M1 chips, etc). Maybe you should actually sell this item and send units to UA-cam synth influencers (e.g., loopop, bobeats, SanjayC) for reviews. Thanks

Hi Eddie, we do have videos showing the controller working with different DAWs in our channel. What you see is a host plugin that comes with the controller, you load it like any other plugin and it hosts VST/AU plugins. You open in the DAW it like any other plugin and record automation, and we show automation in some of our videos. This controller is only for third party VST/AU plugins. There is no further integration with any DAW.
