This is my 2nd most annoying stage to deal with. I wanted to see how you did it at the worst part of it for me, the 3rd dojo. You did a great job. I think that kickboxer sticking outside the screen @5:05 would've been the robber of this run but it's a good thing you had spinning knuckle vortex. Congrats on this high tier performance!
I got robbed several times by Kickboxers hiding in the doorway, stuck in the walls or going AFK on the other side of the dojo. Thunder Strike is great but it causes a lot of problems in that section :)
Emphasis on the get robbed part. Lol. After a while you just laugh at stuff like Donovan using uppercut when youre behind him and it still sends you flying.😂
Good strategy in grabbing the Shiva to start infinity. I got this full after a few tries and the most annoying was getting to Shiva and him escaping the combo and counter disappear. The strategy in the last room with Thunder strikes was also very good, I ended up sticking to Iron will in that part. Congratulations, Max is not easy to adjust cadence of blows with vortex, very well! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Power Slide, Vortex, Rolling Grab, doesn't matter, Iron Will; is probably the better build for full combo. Rolling Grab lack mobility but it's better for not getting hit. I had to go into Training Mode to figure out the best way to maintain Shiva. I also think Shiva reads inputs so I had to wait before spamming punch or he'd dash away and I'd lose combo. Congratz on your run :)
@@Anthopants The ultra move would of been vacuuming the bottom right and getting revenge by eating the turkey during the infinite. Too much risk letting Shiva move though lol

I know this game's bologna can be beyond frustrating but like others, SoR (and Sega in general) have held a special place in my heart since the 90's..appreciate you streaming it dude. Your playthroughs are always entertaining and you've helped me improve tons at SoR4. Big Ben and Z types still give me major issues though. Lmao

Congratulations dude! This stage is so freaking hard to get the FC, way too long with way too many RNG parts. Stage 7 is a breeze, but I'm warning you about Stage 8. That one is... Where hell freezes.
@@Anthopants I don't think it's worse, but on the same level, maaaybe very slightly easier. It really depends on how benevolent the game decides to be with you. The grenade girls move way too fast and they're such a combo breaker. Fortunately the stage is way shorter!
