- For over 75 years the Ali family has been serving Central Trinidad with the classic "Channa & Bread". Nick who is now 72 is still part of the business along with his wife and 2 sons who have taken over most of the daily work.
Opening everyday from 5am to 2pm this family has dedicated their lives to providing a consistent , affordable product for their community , it was our honor to visit them.
Thank you to Mobil 1 TT for taking us to our destination
Nick's Cafe opposite my old primary school. Good memories.
that would of been nice growing up there
I have eaten from Nick’s Cafe many times and the taste has always been consistent. I remember my husband telling me that he wanted me to taste a hops bread with channa and cheese from a place in central. I was hesitant but from the first bite I was like, wow!Super great taste! 😋 Channa always well done.👍🏽 I am also a fan of their chicken and chow mein sandwich. Keep up the great taste and service👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
yes their consistency and taste is amazing
Awesome video; earlier this year, we met Sayeed and his wife at TGI. Awesome, generous people. I appreciate this video for multiple reasons: one, the awesome review and editing; Throwback to when I met Sayeed I saved his number as "Sayeed" but somehow I confused his name as "Saheed". I have a Saheed on my phone and from time to time, remembering how awesome meeting Sayeed and his wife was, I'd try calling Saheed, and Saheed would tell me, "I'm not the man you're looking for." Yesterday a lady named Saheeda called me. When I tried calling her back, I saw Saheed and called him, yet again, but he's learned to ignore my calls. Then I see this video, and learn that Saheed's name is really Sayeed; so thanks to Rendelina I found the number and called Sayeed. Awesome work. Thanks!
Thank you , yes they are very humble and hard working . Glad that we helped you find the correct number for Sayeed lol
Wow this looks delicious! I’ve heard of Nick’s cafe before but I’ve never had a bread and channa. I recently watched your interview with Lyndon Baptiste on Caribbean content creators and decided to check you guys out. Thank you for what you do. I’m making a mental list of things to do and placed to try whenever I visit Trinidad
There's a new place named Yarmouk's in Cocoyea in San Fernando. I would love to see you do a review.
