In two days only, we can have a luxurious and memorable picnic in #Sharan forest. The journey from Islamabad takes only 3.5 hrs to Kiwai and from Kiwai. Jeep takes us to the dense forest of Sharan in just 1.5 hrs. There are luxurious glamping options for family as well as bachelors.
Jeep track is deadly and dangerous, but Jeep's drivers are really expert. Jeep can be hired from Kiwai and own car can be parked in the paid parking at main road of Kiwai. They charge a minimum 8000 rupees for a round trip however its your negotiation skills that how much they reduce the fare.
We can reach at the first glamping resort in 1.5 hrs. It's a beautiful place on hill top where we can have a drone view of #Kaghan valley from 3000 ft high above the valley. The rooms here are charged 10 to 12000 rupees during summer. However, they remain closed in winters.
Further, deep in the forest, some glamping pods are also placed by KP government. wherever you intend to stay, just pre book the rooms to avoid chances of unavailability upon arrival. This place is the most beautiful, silent and peaceful place of Sharan forest.
Things to do in the forest are: Trekking to Sharan waterfall, 40 minutes trek from glamping site and trekking to #Manshi top that is 3 hrs hike from base camp (glamping site). Waterfall amid forest looks like a miracle of nature and the view of Musa ka musalla mountain range from manshi top is epic of Sharan forest. Don't miss it. Flora and Fauna of the forest is at peak during the months of June, July and August. The best thing you can do is cooking amid silence and peace of the forest. Infact, you'll get bored in the evening if you don't do this activity.
