- Millions of people across the Northeast are bracing for snow, rain, ice, and strong winds as a major winter storm is expected to hit the region over the weekend. CBS News New York meteorologist John Elliott has a look at the forecast.

Sensationalize what in the past has always been considered a regular ol' winter storm.
that's the MSM for ya! I can't even watch it, honestly.
This is the country's first real snowstorm for this year. They tend to "sensationalize" the first snow storm of each year. They've been doing that since the beginning of television. I't's nothing new and too bad your memory is too short to remember last year. Its actually best that they do this because there are a lot of fools who don't know how to drive in it, nor will they prepare for it.
LOL people used to appreciate the heads up. But in this post-Trump era, everybody has to troll the news networks because they can't do anything right by them. Spoiled America population are going to vote themselves into a rude awakening one day.

Who knows, could be a cover for something else. Remember when they had a contest to name the new kinds of cloud formations that were appearing? I don't remember what they said was the cause of these never before seen formations, but I'm almost certain it was a combination of the chemtrails and the frequencies they were sending into the atmosphere.

For some reason it feels like there actually are more fires in the winter than in the summer even with there being no snowfall.
massive storm of the century......people its going to be terrible....some will get 1 inch, some will get 6 inchs....Since half the country is defunding everything? My area of NJ is under a winter weather advisory not even storm strength...Tuesday into Weds, is the problem big rain and flooding in my area...the river is still high...

@@jeffschmeganheiman Manholes do not "explode". I think you're referring to methane gas, which can build up in sewers, causing a methane explosion. Has nothing to do with rain and salt.

Wow 2 inches of snow - or maybe just rain. East coast Canadians have been enjoying plus 10 C temperatures recently so they will welcome this as a chance to cool off a bit.
There is more than NYC, it might just get slush, but upstate and elsewhere a foot -- that's a decent snowfall most places!

I think I've gone my entire life watching vermont, new hampshire, maine, get just completely ignored. I'll say this once and I'll say this a thousand times, speaking for at least vermont, we are Canadian. They have more love and investment for our state than the United States does. If I'm not mistaken and if nothing's changed, every year they donate around 3 tons of salt to our state so we can have enough to salt our roads.
