you should start a no-gi circuit

Shower thought judo would work well with muay thai if you were allowed to throw. Also now i've got something to work on in grappling.
Sweeps are allowed in muay thai but a lot of judo throws are illegal or you need to modify because you have to kick their feet out in muay thai.
Personally I like the addition of knees and elbows to my judo. Makes the clinch my favorite place to be. And works really well in mma. Your balance and clinching from judo is better than muay thai but the additional weapons and learning how to clinch in boxing gloves just boosts your clinch game way up.
Do you only go for this when you feel your opponent pushing into you? If so are there some situations where you’ll ignore that
That’s the best method but I was able to lat drop a couple guys today in BJJ without them rushing me, I think you gotta just get the leverage timed good
1:56 😅😅😅😅
Ura nage or uki waza?
Uki Waza, Ura Nage has mor of a lifting motion. This is more pulling and dropping yourself.
I think the term you're looking for at 1:53 is extension. You want full extension of the hips
My wrestling highlight from HS was just me doing the lateral drop with occasional trips in there lmao
I hate this move
This was my throw in HS wrestling (I hated doing the double leg). Now I've adopted it into my uke waza. Great video.
