Hi. Do you have any specific health insurances recommendations for NRI to have as backup in India to use if needed during vacation to India or say after retirement
Yes, there are few plans available for NRIs too. you can buy these as backup. less than a handful of insurers offer new health policies for very senior citizen. it is better to have an active insurance early. now a days insurers offers a no change in premium until you make the first claim. By contract, an insurance company is not supposed to introduce a co-pay clause in the middle of the agreement; the terms you agreed to should be honored. If such an unfortunate change occurs, escalate the matter, and as a last resort, consider raising awareness on social media to hold them accountable and protect their brand reputation.

Need some genuine advise regarding various health insurance companies. Ditto only suggests HDFC ergo and care supreme. But care has many negative reviews in various online websites. Someone please give reviews regarding star, care and others as HDFC is very expensive. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I am on the same dilemma. You can try choosing Aggregate Deductible and reduce premiums. I heard the same about Star and Care. I think next option is NivaBupa but for that too I see reviews that their service is worst during claims.
I have analysed this for more than 2 years and I had reviews from Care, star , digit insurance customers . I am getting everyone complaints and many negative reviews. And I finally selected HDFC ergo because of no limit on anything but one drawback is premium will be very high when compared to other companies 😢.
I've taken ₹5 Lakh coveragesl in Star Comprehensive Health insurance for my parents. 1. single private ac room 2. Fully insured by star (no co pay) 3. Restoration of coverage once in a year 4. Bonus upto ₹10L in case of no claims. 5. More network hospitals. 6. Yearly once free medical check up
there are other comprehensive plans in star which offers the same along with unlimited restoration in a year. Please check with the advisor from whom you bought the policy

consider i have chosen a policy which has all the checklist you have mentioned above
now i am using for that policy for more than 6 years
on one sudden day the policy declares that we are gonna include co pay for 20% in that case it becomes a bad policy
now if i going choose a new policy i need to serve my waiting period from the start
now please don't say this won't happen because i have seen in my company that the insurance that they declared it is going to add co pay of 20% from next financial year
now you might argue this is a corporate benefit and it won't affect for a normal users
but my point is what if a normal user gets affected in that case what is the solution??
By contract, an insurance company is not supposed to introduce a co-pay clause in the middle of the agreement; the terms you agreed to should be honored. If such an unfortunate change occurs, escalate the matter, and as a last resort, consider raising awareness on social media to hold them accountable and protect their brand reputation.
As per IRDAI guidelines, if you port your policy to a new insurer, you do not have to undergo the waiting period again for the same coverage.
@@finance.boosan thank you so much bro
@@finance.boosan Yes, porting to new insurer will not reset your waiting period, but the catch is there should be no break in policy coverage

Yes...ditto only refers hdfc or care supreme...
@@CyberPsychGaming but that is like co pay right. It is not advisable by many influencers
I have analysed this for more than 2 years and I had reviews from Care, star , digit insurance customers . I am getting everyone complaints and many negative reviews. And I finally selected HDFC ergo because of no limit on anything but one drawback is premium will be very high when compared to other companies 😢.
Yes @sathya
I've taken ₹5 Lakh coveragesl in Star Comprehensive Health insurance for my parents.
1. single private ac room
2. Fully insured by star (no co pay)
3. Restoration of coverage once in a year
4. Bonus upto ₹10L in case of no claims.
5. More network hospitals.

there are other comprehensive plans in star which offers the same along with unlimited restoration in a year. Please check with the advisor from whom you bought the policy

Dont trust ditto....they are canvasing specific company....
Do you have a data point to prove otherwise. See, I'm not a flag bearer for ditto. Cos I took my insurance based on critical elements from policy bazaar to arrive at a certain company.
If you have a better version to claim that ditto or what boosan says here, pls share, so that others can benefit.
