      Don't let up, that's how progress is done. It's like climbing a montain, at first when you look at it you think you don't have no chance, but chip at it long enough and you'll get to where you want. Same here, the struggle is real 😅

      Just keep practicing and you will get there in no time. Helicopters are extremely difficult and challenging to learn but once you do it, you will progress so much better and faster practicing the basics and really honing in on those will make you a better pilot in the end. Thank you! I’m glad these videos are helping you!

    You make things look so easy and make them make sense. Thanks for all your info! So, maybe a stupid question. Is there a reason you only rolled right? Does it roll better that way because of rotor direction, or just no need to show both?

      Welcome to helis! Best part of the hobby. I would highly recommend you get a simulator, Realflight is a great one as you get everything you need in the box. Then after some sim time and basic understanding I would highly recommend a Goosky S2 RTF. Helicopters can be very tedious and aggravating, but so rewarding at the same time.

      Thank you very much! I greatly appreciate it. Yes they are Rotortech ultimate 580s. I wanted to try them over the stock 580s honestly the only difference I could feel is at lower RPM. They have a lot more bit but at the higher rpm range the stock blades fly just fine. If I crashed these blades I’ll go back to the Stock SAB 580s.

      @ so it’s more then that but yes, your RPM is set so your throttle stick is collective. So midst stick is zero anything up is positive anything down is negative pitch, but your left is right and right is left and up is down and down is up and forward is backwards and backwards is forwards. Then depending on orientation upright or upside down, it’s all different. Nose in, tail is left right etc.

  • @maxmalinao1430
    @maxmalinao1430 9 місяців тому

    I've watched many of your videos and i am very appreciative of your efforts and respect your knowledge.But i must humbly disagree with your statement of your terminology "Basic 3D",what you showed is not basic 3D.It would fall into the category of "Sport flying" with a heli.I remember a video many years ago with Curtis Youngblood (pioneer of the idea 3D) defining the word...3D,he defined it as:
    Simultaneously moving aileron/elevator and rudder,therefore flying in all "3 axis" constantly,hence the word/definition 3D. A simple back or forward flip is not considered 3D,it is missing the aileron and rudder inputs simultaneously,as also an elevator or aileron tic toc is not 3D.
    Beginnings of "Basic 3D" would be to learn pirouetting in one place which involves all three inputs aileron/elevator and rudder to constantly correct any drift while pirouetting,which than progresses into "Piro steering" moving the heli at will at any given point of the field while pirouetting and finally advancing into pirouetting maneuvers/3D such as:
    piro flips
    piro tic toc's
    piro funnels
    piro loops
    and so forth involving all three axis simultaneously.
