Both Brian Bird & Lindsey Sterman said in an interview that they had originally planned a wedding for Elizabeth & Lucas, but then decided their story would end there....guess they don't have much confidence in their writers to continue making their relationship exciting. But obviously, they were concerned about the ratings. Even Erin said they thought Elizabeth having a relationship with Nathan would be exciting...plus it would keep the fans happy. 'We don't want to make fans mad,' she said. Hhm, we know 'what fans' she was talking about. She went on to say she thought the 'breakup' with Lucas was done in a very 'RESPECTABLE' way AND building a relationship with Nathan would be done 'slowly' out of 'RESPECT' for Lucas fans. Simply ridiculous😮! Most of the storylines are still very good, but not Elizabeth & Nathan. They are childish, unromantic, unbelievable & down right boring. Lindsey Sterman said Lucas would be a HERO....when? Seems more like they're trying to make him a bad guy & he's not. For me, I'm very glad the season is almost over....even previews of Elizabeth & Nathan are nauseating.
There would be many great things they could have Lucas and Elizabeth do. I guess they can have Nathan rescue Elizabeth every week . How exciting that will be.

I don't care about Nathan and don't want to see Elizabeth with him which is what they are doing already. There is nothing interesting about him and he is not doing much mountie stuff either. Jack did way more than him and didn't get the full honor that he should have got He is a way better man too. I am angry that they separated Lucas and Elizabeth. They messed up the story when they did that. If Jack was still alive, s6-9 would have been totally different. They could still have Lucas come into the series. After what they did in s10, it became very toxic. S11, they are making Lucas have a shady past. It is terrible what they are doing to Lucas' character and certain characters. It is good that he is governor, but they are still attacking his character. These writers are damaging the show. They made many of the characters immature. Elizabeth and Nathan act like teenagers when they are together. I always skip those scenes. Lucas has Jack's character. This video is repeating old information mostly.
Grow up!! Nathan was created for Elizabeth. John Tinker almost destroyed the show which is why Lindsay Sturman was brought in to fix the disaster JT created. Lindsay is doing an amazing job and Alfonso who created Nathan and Lucas is consultant for the show. If you don’t like it, don’t watch. The majority of the fan base love Nathan and Elizabeth’s love story.
I do not care for Nathan either. I thought Elizabeth had a better chemistry with Lucas. Nathan and Elizabeth do act like a couple of high school kids. I don’t know where they are taking it now since they paired her up with Nathan but I don’t care that much about watching WCTH. It also seems like they are taking Lucas down a bad road. I thought Lucas was mysterious but also a romantic.

People do not agree about John tinker destroying the show. He was respecting Janette Oke. Really, Elizabeth became worse when they put her with Nathan. Immature and toxic scenes in S10.

They could bring Jack back in several ways, one would be Jack didn’t die in the land slide it was someone else but the body was badly mutilated, Jack however was captured by that nasty gang,they have kept him prisoner for the several years he hasn’t been in the production but Jack escapes even though he’s in bad shape, he shows up at Elizabeth’s home in the middle of the night and she is in shock but nurse’s him back to health and they both build that home he wanted for her and take it from there!
