When I was three years old, my grandparents had a Japanese student live with them for a couple of years. It was the first time I understood there was such a thing as other countries and cultures. I love Japan. It’s incredible. It’s pretty cool to see through your lens! Such a great country. 👍🏼✌🏼
I dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I would love any tips you can offer me!
I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
WTF IT REALLY WORKED! Just hacked my ig account details within about 30 mins of using the site. Just had to pay 15 bucks but definitely worth the money :) Thank you so much you really help me out !
at 9:09 that curve in the road by the rive looked like a perfect spot to get a photo. Summer here is So Cal, 100 degree heat and everything is brown on the hills, to see all that water and green, awesome. always loved how artful the food presentation can be.
I've never really been nowhere out of the country except Canada so it's nice to share your journey abroad to experience the diverse cultures around the world
I absolutely love your approach to traveling Gabriel. Always adventuring out despite language barriers and showing all your impressions from walking down the street to the transportation.
In Japan June has the most rain. I highly recommend the fall for spectacular foliage and spring for the cherry & plum blossoms. Winter in the north would also be fantastic.
I've watched so many Japan videos and they all do the same shit, but you've managed to make a vlog from Japan feel new, at least to me! Those empty train rides were like real life Miyasaki movie scenes!
It always surprised me (and love) how quiet is Koyasan. It is so beautiful! Man, you could have stayed in a temple! Magic experience! I hope to see you walking amazed in Okuno-in!
Subway in Japan seems to be like subway in Korea. People are polite and line up to get on, so respectful. For anyone who travels through Asia, 7-11 is cheap and offers pretty good food :)
Amazing train journey. All that green, wet, beautiful landscape and music was magical (for me at least). Keep on traveling and sharing all the wonderful sights and sounds of the world. Watching me go through your videos, my 9 year old is getting little interested too in your vlogs (who knows someday he will follow in your footstep and travel the world with a Gopro, backpack and camping gear)
Such a great vid! The cable car -wow- the city, the shore, the food! Love that u capture it all! Thanks Gabriel for another awesome view of a part of our world I wouldn't otherwise get to c.
Koyasan is famous for 1000 year Japanese Buddhist vegan food called Shojin Ryori Cuisine, or Shojin Cuisine, that uses a lot of Japan only fermented ingredients. I am not vegan myself, but they are very tasty. If you are still there, I advise you to eat it.
August Hayek That’s good to know! I’m a vegan and gluten free, too. I often wonder if I’ll ever be able to travel and eat anywhere... I was just thinking about this when watching and then read this comment. Very cool!
Japan seems like Switzerland: clean, with polite people, always on "standby", fakly friendly and also boring and disciplinate as Swiss are. Anyway, thanks for loading from Switzerland!
Its a bit expensive if you can swing but Try a Ryokan (traditional Japanese Inn.) They usually come with at least breakfast and most of the time a dinner (with the room). As well as a hot spring. Pretty good way to relax.
I lived in Japan for 2 years. Loving this series. My favorite in all of Japan is the Higashiyama district of Kyoto. Specifically the shops along Matsubara Dori and the temples there. All within walking distance.
Cool Video Gabriel... Interesting, how in their trains the seats are along the windows rather than facing forward or back like in a Bus.. Nice Cable car ride.. Safe Travels *Greg*
Gabe is off the beaten track. Brings me back to see Koya san in muy 2004 trip again and the cable car. I must have taken a different train since I remember about half way through the train split in two. I mean the first 6 carriages went to koyasan and the last 6 went some where else, or vice versa. Make sure you see okunoin temple and the path up to it. Bear in mind it is a grave yard and towards the end close to the temple there is a sign which says no photography. Its possible to also stay in temple loggings in Koyasan.
Hi Gabriel, I'm surprise the arrow was pointing to the train you needed to take even though it was a little confusing. I must admit it seems worth taking that trip to the Koyasan, small mountain town weather not cooperating. The room is more comfortable than those bunk beds in Osaka, that was to cramped.
A few comments. Firstly, I am loving this trip already. I love that you don't know what it is that you are eating. That is the mark of a true adventurer. Secondly, you said that you were Travel Weary after your last foreign trip but you seem to have made a swift recovery from that illness. Thirdly, WTF is with the porn movie music on the footage of the funicular? Lol. Seriously though Gabriel, I love your videos.
No need to stress on trains in Japan. The Hyperdia app is all you need. Get complete information. There are also some cool apps specifically for subway in Tokyo, but honestly, those are pretty straightforward too. The only trick is to pay attention to your track number, lest you start off in the wrong direction (trust me)
So funny how I would never think about eating at a 711 while in the states, but when I'm in places like Asia and Mexico they suddenly become hot spots. Love it.
Giant Huda Travels.... Isn't that the truth ? I cannot remember how many times I stopped in to convenience stores in Asia. Variety of foods is awesome and the prices are cheap. Often you have to find a place to sit and eat outside the store, though.
HI Gabriel, your trip to Japan is one of my most expected since I´ve followed you, thanks for sharing! I was wondering: would it be possible to have someone (wish I could do it) draw an animated map of your trips around the globe since day one? not only I´m sure it´ll be brilliant to display and show, but it´ll shed a light of your current (mind blowing) mileage and video-hours uploaded work so far, that we are certain will also help to support a foreseen Guinness record you well deserve. PD: Yes, I´m enclined to think that was rice too ha ha, wish I could try that Sake too, did it once and it was like airy sweet spirited vodka indeed. Cheers. looking forward for Tokyo impressions!
Also a Pasmo or a Suica card will make your life much easier if you pre-load money on it. for trains/buses Sometimes you get a small discount on fares.. You can also use them at the vending machines and sometimes convenience stores. (which is weird because most places want cash).
Might be too late, but staying in a monastery is a cool experience while there (can a tad pricy, though it includes two meals). Anyways I don't want to be the advice guy, I'm sure you've done some reading : )
American here: from Santa Cruz, California. I live in the DEEEEEEP mountains of Kamiyama, Tokushima, Japan about 4 hours bus from Osaka. Spare bed available for Gabriel :-)
Thanks bro. I slept in the redwoods by UCSC for a week once while visiting my brother who went to university there. Back in my traveling '90s days. Visited there other times as well as family lives there. I practiced surfing at the easy spot next to Steamer's Lane, forget what it's called.
Hi Gabriel.. The English translations on Station/ train info system is a welcomed assistance, I bet 😉 In your opinion is rail travel reasonable value for money? comparing with main stream Europe, for example..
Love your work as always. Not been to Japan yet, so enjoying this series from you. At 10:33, it looks similar to Aguas Caliente in Peru, where there is a rushing river right next to the train station.
How old are you? ....I'm 20 and I started following you 2 months ago after I decided that it's time to see how these 7 billions are living. I started with Turkey then I'm heading towards Georgia, hopefully, and next year my destination would be Vietnam and China. You're a great source of motivation and also information. I lived with you throughout your videos and I had your perspective which was awesome .... many years to come and many feet to set. Good luck 🤞
Hi, love to watch your adventures. One quick question do you pick where you go? Or does somewhere call out to you and you just go? I mean was it the cable car that called out to you? Or did you find out about this when you researched it? Keep on vlogging.
He's not there anymore, there's no internet in N. Korea so he recorded the videos and then left the country and is somewhere else uploading the videos. I'm not sure where he is now.
Gabe, I was one of your viewers that requested you to go to Japan, remember back last year? Are you headed to Aokigahara forest by any chance? Aokigahara is a place for suicides and it is haunted.
Is that the one Logan Paul went to? Not sure it would be the best idea for my channel! Actually I'm sure it would be okay but it seems a little creepy to go back and show the same place he went, even if I didn't show any bodies.
Hi Gabe, Paul popularized the place; but I was cognizant about the Japan suicide forest before he ever went there, because I've been following upon and researching the paranormal field of study and 'the otherside' for quite a while now. It is needless to say that it has been a mind blowing experience thus far.
hows the hostel vibes like? Are they busy and sociable? I went to Khaosan world namba last year it was near namba station and dotonbori had a good time there.
you are so polite ,always care about noiseless in public areas
When I was three years old, my grandparents had a Japanese student live with them for a couple of years. It was the first time I understood there was such a thing as other countries and cultures. I love Japan. It’s incredible. It’s pretty cool to see through your lens! Such a great country. 👍🏼✌🏼
Was English taught to him/her?
J Rod the ILLegal Yeah, of course. She attended a high school in Wisconsin.

Car window on a rainy day is fantastical!
I'm Japanese but I have never been to there…I will go to Koyasan someday
In Japan June has the most rain. I highly recommend the fall for spectacular foliage and spring for the cherry & plum blossoms. Winter in the north would also be fantastic.

i think i am in love with japan
I love how you travel on a budget, not buying food in expensive restaurants or take cabs! GreT
Subway in Japan seems to be like subway in Korea. People are polite and line up to get on, so respectful.
For anyone who travels through Asia, 7-11 is cheap and offers pretty good food :)
Great stuff man. You come across very likable
Cute cable car! I love to explore japan country side! Looking forward seeing how it looks like up there!
your Japan videos are great! enjoying it so far.
I feel like I’m actually there in Japan
James Johnson That's what I like about Gabriel's style, when he's filming you think you are there
Beautiful scenery Gabriel, love the little towns you passed on the train. Stay dry my friend, From Ontario Canada
Gabby Thank you , you are a wonderful tour guide , totally enjoyed traveling with you !
Awesome. Deep sequences, images and editing, cool music. Best wishes and thx.

Thx for another phenomenal video,Gabe.Great camera work and cool music!
Japan seems like Switzerland: clean, with polite people, always on "standby", fakly friendly and also boring and disciplinate as Swiss are. Anyway, thanks for loading from Switzerland!
Switzerland is probably the most boring country in the world
Japan, Switzerland and Norway are the champions of boredom
Gabe you make this Japan series so adventurous Great Job
I told you you can travel Japan for cheap! :) glad you also went Big Island.
Its a bit expensive if you can swing but Try a Ryokan (traditional Japanese Inn.) They usually come with at least breakfast and most of the time a dinner (with the room). As well as a hot spring. Pretty good way to relax.
Excellent job on your video/edit work, loved the train ride a really nice job. That's what we're talking about. Thanks, cheers Gabriel
I admire your resourcefulness.
I lived in Japan for 2 years. Loving this series. My favorite in all of Japan is the Higashiyama district of Kyoto. Specifically the shops along Matsubara Dori and the temples there. All within walking distance.
Gab, Appreciate The Total Japan Travel & The Video Of Surroundings ... thanxx bro !
Hi Gabriel, I hooked with your Japan travel series, new SUB from Melbourne
Cool, thanks for subbing Tony.
loved the background music @07:03 :)
You are amazing, Gabriel...in case you forgot. It's a lot of work. The food looked delicious, wonderful.
Cool Video Gabriel... Interesting, how in their trains the seats are along the windows rather than facing forward or back like in a Bus.. Nice Cable car ride.. Safe Travels *Greg*

Keep up your great videos...enjoying Japan...👍🏻👍🏻
Addicted to this channel & stoked on you showing that mountains area more. Thx
It seems Google maps shows another mountain as Koyasan too, more to the east of Osaka.
This one is to the south, past Hashimoto.
Can be confusing.
Gabe, I really enjoyed this video. I think Japan is a great travel destination for you - another world.
It looks green and lush....hope you sun for the hiking you have planned, still looks pretty in the rain.
Dolores Cardenas I agree it does look pretty in the rain and certainly seems to add to the blissfulness of this journey.
Koyasan is beautiful. Great choice.
Also, you can navigate the train schedule live and the platform using google map
This was very enjoyable to watch
Cool, thanks.
These videos make me wanna go back. Go to an onsen, it's such a cool experience!!
The music you have while on your train ride is so cool, but not Love on a Real Train, love that one too
Super video! Beautiful views! 💗 Greetings from London! 🇬🇧
Londistan !
Too bad you couldn't get a room @ one of the temple. You should try it next time. ;p

Time to find an onsen! Perfect weather for it. Amanda
Definitely.
This video is so good. I forgot how to smash the like button.
Great train experience Gabe, thanks. Great choice of music for both journeys as well, what were they called ?

Fantastic video- pity the weather was so poor for that amazing journey.
Thanks.
Gabe, I'm enjoying your Japanese videos
Nice video, the full sense of presence there, thanks!
Thanks for showing Japan
Awesome Gabe.
Your camera (and hand) works perfectly.
So funny how I would never think about eating at a 711 while in the states, but when I'm in places like Asia and Mexico they suddenly become hot spots. Love it.

Like summer beach vibe ? Try to visit Shonan beach of Kanagawa Prefecture.

Hope Sri Lanka is on your bucket list as well; I will watch if you go there, because it will be a place you have not been before and interesting too.
It's absolutely on my list, not sure when I'll get there.
Will be eagerly waiting for that day. In the meantime, I am liking this new visit to Japan, Gabe. Safe Travels.
So lucky man ....

Hi, love to watch your adventures. One quick question do you pick where you go? Or does somewhere call out to you and you just go? I mean was it the cable car that called out to you? Or did you find out about this when you researched it? Keep on vlogging.
Hi, thanks. I decide where to go based on reading in my guidebook and hearing about suggestions, etc. Then I figure out how to get there.
Keep up the great work, are you going to Tokio ?
oh my!!! thats nice....even in rain :))) you could meet with indigo, he is in north korea now...you are quite close....
He's not there anymore, there's no internet in N. Korea so he recorded the videos and then left the country and is somewhere else uploading the videos. I'm not sure where he is now.
ok....it would have been awesome though ;)
I agree, I'd be stoked to meet up with him sometime.
Thank you

Gabriel, that looks like summer in Eureka, CA.
Haha, yeah really. I graduated from HSU so I know what you're talking about.
Returning to Mexico anytime soon? 55 for that room is a good deal, looks nice.
Not sure but I do want to see more of Mexico. So many places in the world to go.
When will you visit Bangladesh? Waiting eagerly for it.
Love the music at 4:45!
01:29 I thought it's Zomato add 😁😁😁😂😂
