The fact that Tanjiro gains the respect and admiration of the other trainees is testament not only to his ability but his character. They could have been jealous that he excelled or they could have thought he was making them look bad but instead they just admire and wish to emulate him.
Tanjiro is a prime example of what you can do if you put your passion and drive into a discipline. You can learn faster, grow more, and become an example that others will proudly follow.
