Fine - Im a buyer who can't see where the click and collect points are before submitting a bid - so Im not going to use it - frustrating
To start selling do you need access to a printer for the labels, add extra cost for packaging items?
So packages that don't have the code on them just get destroyed?
with the epc it always says you have to edit postage because there is too many symbols in address
Click and collect should be available for bulk items from registered click and collect sellers and should be available at any cost. Click and collect should also be available for muiltiple items that have been brought of the same seller.
So you are expanding the collection points, that's great but you still have not yet sorted the issue of printing the Buyers Actual Address on VAT Invoices instead of the Click and Collect Address. When printing the eBay Invoice it should show delivery address and buyers address!! Also if a buyer produces multiple orders all going to the same Click and Collect Address it makes it very difficult to combine the purchases in one parcel because there will be multiple eCP numbers. Once, we had 13 orders from one buyer all going to one Click & Collect Address. We had to hand write all 13 eCP codes on the actual parcel because there was not enough room on the standard Royal Mail Thermal Label!
hi there, we send the order few days ago to click and collect address. thats great. but here is problem. my customer can't collect the order because they didnt get collect code. what I can do so the customer can collect he order. they are so cross on me. please advise us. thanks
You should have just texted them the item number
Do you have to take your parcel to the collection point ? Are there long queues as usually service at Argos is very slow ? Do you have to obtain a receipt ? I don’t own a printer so I can’t use this service ?

I done a Click Collect item & waited for eBay notification that it's ready for pick up. Waited. Went past the expected date. Seller sent it R.Mail, I contacted eBay missing item proceedings. Seller said it had been delivered to Click Collect at a garage. Went to the garage & it was there, but I still needed a Click Collect ready email. What happened was the garage person hadn't scanned it it in as that triggers the Ready To Pick up email. Got it scanned & got the email. eBay sent me a terse email saying it had been delivered & it wouldn't pay up yet it's their system that is flawed & I basically got hung out to dry. I won't use it again as they blame you & won't pay up if it's not there. I will be speaking to them..
Yea - me too, read my post, its a real farce. Over two purchases I'm out of pocket by nearly £50 GBP
I haven't opted for Click and Collect but Ebay has put this option on my listing and I can't remove it. Wy do you waste your userS' time and annoy them? Click and Collect should be something you opt IN for not OUT. Despite looking at instructions on the internet I can't find anywhere on my listing the option to opt out. I shall have to waste more time putting an addendum on to my listing explaining that the prats at Ebay have decided that I have to offer Click and Collect but that the only service I'm offering in delivery by post.

If you wish to not offer this service on your listings, you need to log in to your account via the desktop version of the site and select Account settings>Postage preferences from the top left under 'Hello'. Thanks for your question. A buyer will usually receive a collection code via email, app notification, and My eBay message that their item is ready for collection. If you don’t have that code, be sure to contact CS from this page, so we can help you.

I don’t understand why the click and collect code is on a Royal Mail label, surely they don’t deal with click and collect services like collect plus store or do they?
@@loppyloo106 You can send a click and collect parcel via any mail/parcel service, Royal Mail included. The important thing is that the eBay reference code is on the address label, or it really interferes with the collection process.
So the eCP (eBay Collection Point) code has to be on the label you print via any courier, as this is required for the Collection Point to identify the parcel when it arrives to them. It will be included in the 'Ship to' address on your order page 🙂 ~ Jessica
