So its not that surprising that they are in 1/8. Potential 5 NBA players. They just Underrated! And Italian Coach Luka has finally discovered them!
Kurucs was in NBA already for a brief stint, Smits is in Euroleague… so would not say underrated, NBA scouts can see him, other two yeah maybe underrated but Žagars is still bad in defence and really before tournament he did not play like this

Brasil let Canada to get a bit asleep and lose their intensity and after it Brasil started to play in full power and Canada has choked. Latvia instead of Canada put pressure on Brasil from the first ball and never stopped until the final whistle. That's what happened. We lost to Canada because of losing our team captain and some of our players lost a bit confidence. But as you've seen in the next games we are doing pretty well.
Besides their three point shots, Latvia should attack the rim in order to keep the Germans busy and neutralize their defense. I am rooting for Latvia to win against Germany.
