So this is the track that turned me on to cypress. I'm an old white head (47). I loved listening to stuff like this and metal to get pumped-up for my next game or fight, but what was crazy is you could put it on at a party and everyone knew the words. These guys are highly underrated and it's a shame. I saw them at lollapalooza in '94 with the beastie boys. The crowd went so nuts my hand got forced through a security fence 3 times in 3 seconds and it looked like I stuck it in a blender. I waited till the end of their set and went to get some band-aids from the med tent.i had lost so much blood, they sent me to the hospital. No regrets on THIS one. They were great live. Good times, good times ❤😂

There's something about Cypress Hill that allows them to appeal to people across all musical tastes. Cypress Hill is a hip hop group that can play at a heavy metal concert/festival, draw huge crowds of metalheads, and fit in just fine. Though admittedly, it could be just due to contact high from all the weed being smoked throughout the show, lol.

what's funny is this and the phunky feel one are two videos where they are basically just standing in a burnt out building doing that dance move they do the whole video- but they still come off as fresh ass videos- if you check the phuncky feel one video it's like almost the same- and another banger- but the budget looks like it was 5 grand but still looks better than 95% of todays videos- b-real the guy with the nasal voice has a show on youtube called the smoke box i think where he has guests that sit in his car and smoke 8 lbs of weed- there's hundreds of episodes of that so b-real is still doing things

So here's a good 1 here! This is a scene from the movie Stormy Weather. This scene features Cab Calloway and the Nicholas Brothers. I saw this as a kid and the dancing blew my mind!! This is a classic!!
The film came out in 1943. I'm not that old. I was born in 1981 but check this out

Check out Cypress Hill - Throw Your Set In The Air. Then check out Ice Cube’s song Friday. Cube and Cypress Hill got into a beef over these songs. Cypress Hill said Ice Cube was in the studio with them and heard their song then copied the hook and used it for his Friday song.

THese guys are legends in the rap game, to the point where they had beef with Ice Cube for stealing some of their beats and samples. So even the greats were trying to tap in to some of their style. --------- For more Cypress Hill check out, "I want to get High", "Stoned is the way of the Walk", "Hole in ya head, "Killafornia", "Latin Lingo", "Illusions", . ------- Also one of the all time spin off songs associated with Cypress Hill is "Jump Around"
