I love their take on separating art from politics. Not that I don't still enjoy political media, but I love their point about how sharing a deeper more complex feeling or experience can transcend belief systems and get people to bond regardless of them.
I already had huge respect for carnifex before seeing this video, but Holy fucking balls my respect is somehow through the roof. Cannot wait for the Uk/EU tour in December, best band there 😝🤟
I saw them live last weekend it was amazing what I remember of it because I got hit in the head hard on the first song by a guy swinging his arms in the mosh pit. How I discovered them was I was a huge fan of Alissa White-Gluz and I watched their collab and have been a fan ever since
They are so intelligent, respectful, something MGK or any of these posers that think they rock, need to take a page from. Can’t wait to see them in May.
I found out about these guys randomly buying their CD "the diseased and the poisoned" in a best buy. I found it to be horribly produced, extremely boring, and just lost in the sea of the genre at the time and I was totally gonna write them off. I'm so glad I decided to look further cuz dead in my arms was SOOOO much better and banger after banger and then the preceding album hell chose me was like a whole different beast chock full of gravity blasts and more extreme death metal elements. Other than the album I founded them on, they're a pretty consistent band! Every bands got their weak release.
Also, bands wrote about Bush because they wanted the world to know that all of America did not want to be represented by the tyrannical administration we had at the time that waged an illegal and unconstitutional war on a country that didn't attack us. They weren't writing about Bush, they were writing about the war he waged. He is a war criminal
Why would you ask if carnifex is a good band listen and make the decision for your self do you think we're a good band go ahead put on any of our seven records
