Not sure why they only make this documentary available on BBCiplayer. They want this group to be successful globally but you can only watch the docu in UK? They should put it on BBC YT channel! Anyway I am enjoying it a lot. I really like the fact that all of the boys hardly knew anything about Kpop and so they are really thrown into the deep end the minute they arrive in Korea. And yes, they will not be a kpop group, they will be a UK boyband! Although it would be cool to see them on SMTOWN one day (although I cannot see that happening).
@riizeberry Its probably a contractual thing. The BBC is funded through TV licence in UK so it might be difficult to make it available for other viewers. There is BBC World Service on YT. You can watch a lot there for free but it's more yournalistic documentary on world issues not entertainment. Guess Dear Alice need to rely on content creators on social media to get the word out 🙂
I don't understand why the BBC doesn't licence the show to other platforms so people outside the UK can see it! they've done this before with other shows like Doctor Who. It would really help the group with promo! I don't follow kpop but I watched the Popstar Academy doc on Netflix, which got me interested in Katseye and now I'm a fan of them, bought the album and everything! Such a missed opportunity 😔
I love their song, it’s so addictive, also when they did the evaluation, I thought the vocals were actually pretty good to me,in my opinion the vocals were better than many kpop groups that already debuted, not at SM, but others that are currently promoting. But yeh, the dancing still needs alot of work obviously. I think they hv a lot of potential.

yeh only being in bbc iplayer is a hit weird, maybe because they didn’t know how well it would do globally??
