I’ve been playing Insurgency Sandstorm lately. Domination on that game is as close to COD as it gets, but its still better than COD. Its a MilSim that blows it out of the water
yeah but insurgency sandstorm skill gap is unrepairable, its just riddle with day one players who are at only good at insurgency sandstorm and nothing else, I have some fun with the gun's in training mode and PVE since PVP is just level 200 - 500 players fighting each other and if ur a new guy playing, tough luck, should've played back in 2019 to 2021 which i did but got bored of it and moved onto squad.
2008-2015: COD clones as far as the eye can see. They all fail because COD players only play COD. 2020-2024: COD is dying due to mismanagement and there’s nothing “similar enough” for long-time players to switch to.
Not to mention that they shut down fan made clients that try making the old games safe to play due to the old games (especially on pc) being a big security risk.
I really liked this game at the beginning it was reminiscent of how I felt in bo1. That being said by now the flaws are overly glaring. Bad servers; weird guns, bad progression. Buggy updates, it's like beyond the pale how much they let it go bad. I've been wary on pulling the trigger on deleting it in hopes they pick up the slack but the updates have been actively breaking it further not fixing anything. So I don't know what I hold out for. Edit: for context I haven't played a cod regularly since bo1.
I've not played a COD game since 2018 and I've never been happier, since I decided to play several genres and found the ones that put change and innovation as a first more than what goes on in the COD mines or whatever the hell EA is doing.
to be fair, the steam player count just shows steam players who have their games public, doesn’t include all the game pass players, console players, or people with private accounts. COD is dying but not to a noticeable amount to Activision’s wallet’s
Dude same. The M4 takes me 6-9 shots, but EVERYONE else’s takes 3-5 to kill me. It doesn’t matter if I hit headshots either. Then subs spray you in 4 bullets at pretty much any range. Unplayable.
SBMM is putting me in lobbies with people who’ve dropped nukes with dark matter and are master prestige and guess what im not even first prestige with gold at all
I haven't seen cheaters that much but the reason why I left Black ops 6 because it's just boring as shit MW23 , 22 and vanguard cods that are considered bad had a community surrounded by them that made them to me fun the gameplay, progression and zombies is good but the removal of chatting to enemy teams and things like that makes the game feel dry also as artist the fact that they are using AI for artwork and Voice acting makes the game feel like slop and it's something that I can't support
it's crazy bro being a die hard fan of a huge company gets you nowhere I feel like all these companies when they get so big they just start pumping out whatever obviously they're putting some amount of effort into making the game itself but they don't take any inspiration from what the fans it feels ubisoft, activision, blizzard, epic games, microsoft, and sony themselves only care about making money every new game is like a crypto scam pump n dump. Like you get all hyped for a new game have fun for a couple hours maybe a few days or a week and then it just gets boring again making you wish they'd just go back to the old formula cod is literally just fortnite ever since warzone, like man holy shit bo6 is just cold war with a few extra steps
Companies don't listen to the community because it's a business at the end of the day. They'll listen when people stop buying ts every year just because the title
Can't spell Activision without Act. Oh wait you can Edit: The old Cods are not any better. In MW2 the same people keep camping with noobtubes and cheating. Like players like these ruin the game and make me want to take a long break
You can’t be a casual player anymore in this game Every time I want to play, I need to be on my grind to just get one fucken kill No more relaxing and playing
Cod has been cooked for years imo
facts
And y'all still play it so don't complain sis.
Been like it since cod ghosts
@dagothodros641 nah I only play the old games on PC with clients
We have to let it die and admit our best days are far behind us.

and everyone keeps spending $100 per copy of recent releases. half the problem is the communities cant accept poor quality games

love the bo2 emblem creator creativity wise but I can absolutely understand why they removed allat
cod fans say the same shit every year but with slightly more aggression in their voice

Skill based damage made me quit the game after day two.
When I shoot someone, it’s like I’m using an nerf gun, meanwhile I’m clapped in two shots.

it's an overlying issue with most things nowadays movies, music, hell even companies whose stores you shop at even

Have you been living under a rock for over 10 years?
Crazy how roblox devs can make a better multiplayer fps than COD
Zombies is the only reason to play
