I have completed my BSc in Computer Science. I had an offer from my Mama that if I wanted to be a Merchandiser? In addition, he gave me 7 days to research on this. Though I don't have any prior knowledge of that, he told me he would be showing me or teaching me how to do this. I am in a puzzle to make this decision whether I should go for it or not? Any opinion?
I have five years job experiences on general section. I have lead a team where were 22 people. Last few months ago I have decided to learn merchandising. Once I decided the I asked someone of my older brothers those are related in garments industry & they gave us idea and then I have started searching UA-cam about merchandising. To be honestly I have got clear concept about merchandising from “Research “ channel. Once I realised merchandiser is playing master role in a factory then I started work a accessories company. Part time (without pay) . Now I’m looking for a job trainee or junior merchandiser. Some of my older brothers will suggest me some factories then i will face an interview. That is my short journey about merchandising passion. Can you please suggest me if anything need to change or need to add in my journey.
