IK why the Icarly reboot got canceled because Miranda, Nathan, and Jerry said they were standing by Jeanette Mccurdy's claims against Dan Schnider. Not to mention in the reboot there were too many shade comments going against Dan. Nickelodeon/Paramount/Viacom wasn't going to stand for that so they canceled the show because if you go against Dan you go against the network and the company

Exactlyy! The writers did a great job leaving their characters respectfully open-ended in case they change their minds to return and at the same time, respecting the characters that are faves of fans! Very recommendable writing 🙌🏼

For me personally I respect the Olsen twins design not to come back for fuller house but it still felt like a part was missing

I hate that they canceled this so abruptly. This was one of the few revival shows that has been done right. The show adjusts for the range of the audience. The new characters don’t feel like “replacements” to the past ones. It’s just insane

I'm so upset that they canceled it like this. The show was so good, almost on par with the old show imo. Besides, no show should be ended on a cliffhanger.

I'm still pissed they did this with season 3, and Other shows that I love like, My Babysitter is a Vampire in Disney Channel got cancelled in a cliffhanger after season 2 ending, and another show is Tower Prep which released in 2009-2010 in Cartoon Network after only one season Tower Prep also got cancelled with a cliffhanger, but again back then when Cartoon Network tried doing life action shows it didn't do so good. Oh, and the show Supah Ninjas who was in Nickelodeon also got cancelled after a cliffhanger at the end of season 2. And the series Wids Academy which is the spinoff series for another Nickelodeon series called Every Witch Way got cancelled after only one Season, again in a cliffhanger. Well at least Every Witch Way got 4 seasons and a real ending, So it's not the first time they did this with shows, but it's upsetting.

Dude. I saw the season finale and thought for SURE it was getting another season. Especially with all the fan love and attention it was getting. How can you get rid of a show that's getting so much love? But, no -- it gets canceled! And it was one of the very few revivals that actually got the story and characters right. WHY?!

When I saw the finale for season 3, My first thought was "They definitely have to give the show a 4th season now" but when I heard about it's canncellation to say that it sucks is an understatement. Hell at this point the only way the revival can be saved is if another streaming service buys the rights to the show and picks it up for more seasons, But sadly that's not likely to happen.

While I’m not the biggest fan of iCarly it is good to see people fighting for this show cause Lord knows we need more of that these days of shows and movies being cancelled or written off for no good reason.
What Paramount did to the fans was cruel, a very successful and highly appreciated series should not be dismissed in such a way, these series work with the person's sentimentality and nostalgia.
BTS showed how committed the cast was to delivering worthy work that fans enjoyed and felt nostalgic about, few series do that. We hope another entertainment company buys the rights to iCarly and makes a new season. Netflix, Hulo, Star+, HBO... Fans deserve at least one well-resolved ending. Thank u for the video

Here's my honorable mention: Chuck Chambers and his family. Sure, he came back in one episode, but that's it! We never got to see his brother, sister and dad again. It would've been great to have them tell everyone the truth about his history with the Shays and tell him off about his behavior once and for all.

When it comes to Spencer’s fires, i think it makes it to funny to say that he’s the ultimate fire bender 😂. If we got an answer, it would probably ruin the whole thing.
The biggest question we all have is definitely the real number one. Like, if the show got canceled but Season 3 ended like a normal episode, then that’s one thing. But the fact that iCarly got cancelled after it’s massive cliffhanger involving the mysterious mom, is another. That question has been in our minds since the very beginning of the show, and I mean, the VERY beginning of the show. 😭😭

I hate they canceled this I loved this revival! Harper and Millicent were hilarious new characters! At first I didn’t see Harper in place of Sam but she was awesome! Carly and Freddy finally getting together. Just when they were going to wed and finally introduce us to Carly and Spencer’s Mom they go and canceled it. How rude
I hope Paramount sees this and decides to develop a hour long special to wrap this revival up. It's the least they can do for the fans.

One of my biggest questions is what happened to Harper’s cousin who faked her kidnapping? Harper said she was her best friend in the whole world, and Spencer had amazing chemistry with her, in which they only agreed to take a break. So why do we never see or hear from her again after her 3-episode run in Season 1? 🧐

The Icarly reboot being canceled is another example of Nickelodeon being dead, and it's also a fine example of Paramount/Viacom being shady. Hears what doesn't make sense during the writers' strike the show was already picked up for season 4. Now all of a sudden they canceled however Nickelodeon decided to do a weekend marathon of the original Icarly. Clearly, they are trying to justify Dan Schnider again and since most of the cast is against Dan that's why the show got wrongfully canceled

Not really. They never mentioned her mom in the original show, so it was a debated theory what actually happened with her. We just finally got some confirmation what actually happened and like you said we needed more answers.

Unfortunately I don’t think this will happen unless Paramount+ stops being a platform. Viacom owns all of the Nickelodeon shows and uses them as a major draw to their service.
They’re not likely going to shop their show around to the competition unless they no longer have their own platform

I’m NOT holding my breath TOO HARD right now…………………………… but with ALL the things going on in the world right now (i.e. The SAG-AFTRA strike, one “Save iCarly” Petition collecting nearly 15K signatures now, Miranda and Jerry NOT speaking up on social media, AND Paramount+ going through even tougher times now whether they want to admit it or not).................................... I get the feeling that a LOT MORE THINGS are inevitably going to happen in the coming months, and until they DO, ALL we can do is keep living our lives, breathing air, voicing our support for iCarly, and praying for a miracle that somehow helps us get there (i.e. Back to a world with our favorite show airing for at least ONE MORE YEAR in order for it to end PROPERLY).

I did not know that paramount plus canceled the new iCarly show after the season 3 cliffhanger season finale of the show. I was kind of enjoying liking the iCarly revival show,sad the show leave with to many unanswered questions too.

Hopefully someone like Netflix does swoop in to conclude the series cuz Paramount and Nickelodeon have a very good relationship with Netflix as they’ve even made some exclusive content for Netflix like the Loud House Movie and the live action Avatar the Last Airbender series that’s coming soon so I could see them asking Netflix to fund a conclusion to it.

I can’t believe that after everything included the original Siri is in and everything that the show has been through. There’s still so many questions like what happened to Carly‘s dad, Sam Gaby Will Spencer ever find a woman and we finally after all this time get to see Carly‘s mom and they end it like that, that is not how you at the show years of childhood leading up to that moment and they take it away that is just disrespectful

Seeing that Sam didn't end up with Freddie in the reboot which made me sad I decided to head cannon Sam being the loving wife of her mafia boss husband Lee Park the leader of the biker gang Sam is in (*hint if you know this line "Lovely Army, Your so lovely, I'm so lovely, We're so lovely lovely lovely" then you know who the head cannon Lee Park will be 💜*) and both Sam and Lee love each other so much they also have two daughters, Sam is the cool mother who also cares deeply and her husband Lee is an overprotective father who is afraid that his daughters will get hurt by anything and also there are also six hit mans that protect both Sam and Lee, since almost all the iCarly characters in the reboot have been paired up I wanted to also give Sam someone to be with it just makes me feel sad that Sam doesn't have a lover in the new series 😔 (*By the way Carly and the rest don't know about Sam and Lee's marriage and kids combine Sam being a mafia boss's wife, so if any seddie shippers wanted Sam to be with someone never fear Sam finally has one, if this becomes cannon I will be happy credit me for this head cannon I did 🙏*)

Freddie was never supposed to end up with Sam. They tried, they were incompatible and it didn't work out, no need to force it. I hope this helps 🙂

I think Mrs. Or Miss Shay isn't talked about because there might be something wrong with her. Something dangerous or she ran off wit another man or maybe just flat out abandoned Colonel Shay and their kids. Hence why she is never talked about in the ogs and Carly dodging her lover's question about her mom. Surely something happened to make the rest of the Shay family not talk about her.
And in the original, Siri is the actor who played the granddad, was older than the actor who played Carly‘s dad and he came back and we’re still not gonna get her dad

Two sides to the cancelation. Bad side, we never see what her mom looks like. Good side, fanfic writers have something to write about.

this show shouldn't be cancelled, it is not rude it is an abomination I hate how streaming cancels a great show like the original which has 5 great seasons.
