In my opinion, insecurity stems from the working environment rather than salary or the nature of the work. With around 14 years of experience in IT, having worked with both service-based and product-based companies, I've observed that it's often about colleagues rather than the company itself. Some long-tenured employees exhibit toxic and insecure behaviors, fearing that new employees might overshadow them and diminish their perceived value to the organization. Whenever i find this situation I try to change the job rather than moaning. One more thing this mentor mentee concept is full of shit.😊
