100%. Even if that company she's partnered with makes that watery ranch bomb as hell, her attitude + her using customers as test subjects for an inconsistent + unsafe product has put me off from ever wanting to support her.
This is what I think too because any producer would realize how defending her and make the other woman the villain would go over… which is awfully! It just makes no sense why risk negative publicity other than getting paid tons of money lol. Some ppl said Karamo must have not done his research, but he would have many ppl who would give him the rundown necessary to understand the situation. I think it was all purposeful.

As a huge fan of Queer Eye, I’m so disappointed in Karamo. Be an adult and admit your faults. You can’t base your entire public identity on helping people and then pull some ignorant, uneducated bs for something that was/is a very serious issue. The way he treated that girl is disgusting.
Yea, Karamo is supposed to be the writer and communication expert and when it comes down to it, he can't even do some basic damage control PR. I honestly never got anything substantive from him though. He speaks in cliches and as we know now, cannot do remedial PR or a smidge of research for his show. So disappointing.

Every time I watch the interview I can feel the steam coming out of my ears.
Both the Interviewer, Chef Pii as well as the audience are embarrassing.
Remember in editing they can change the response. Since normally audience members also sign contracts, as well as both women, we don’t know all of the details. Plus if the audiences members were fed a ton of misinformation than they would have felt righteous in their response. It could have ignorance or editing, perhaps it was a combination. I place blame on the Pink lady, The Host, and his research team, that is, if he has one. Like who booked her for a guess or was this something a PR team engineered? Because it all felt very strange.
talk shows like this don't allow audiences to react on their own, they are cued to laugh or cheer at certain things. this is why even the worst monologue you've ever heard actually gets applauded, too

I don't consider this an apology for a few reasons:
1. It was a DM. She needs to come out PUBLICLY to apologize to Alle. She had no problem humiliating her publicly, so she needs to keep the same energy.
2. All the fluff about being a single mom and small business owner...huh lady, that's a decision you made. How dare you make someone feel bad for the decisions you made as an adult?!

This was the most repulsive talk show moment of all time. Chef telling Allie "she isn't special" and Chef and Kamaro gaslit her terribly. It was repulsive. I still see his show on my tv guide and it makes my skin crawl.

Kuramo is actually one of the dudes on the show Queer Eye (Netflix) and his role is the therapist who is known for teaching and showing people to be authentic with themselves and taking accountability. But here he is with his own talk show doing and preaching the COMPLETE opposite. So I’m just wondering which is the REAL karumo 🧐
His role on Queer Eye was fictional, he's got no official license. He is not a therapist but a guy who took a few informative courses and likes to mislead people into thinking he's a therapist with credentials. Multiple news agencies have had to correct the record post article release because he makes them think he's a licensed professional and he's not.
That's like someone saying they're a Michelin Star Chef because they work in a kitchen as an assistant. He's not a social worker either, that's his other lie he likes to spin.

Two things: I have to say Karamo is full of bias to help Chef Pii because she is an individual black business woman. At some point, it is good to support woman's business, but he didn't hold objective view enough. I'm so in awe of Alli right now. She handled that whole situation so maturely, she could have so easily taken the internet's sympathy and ran with it, calling out Chef Pii and Karamo, and no one would have blamed her for it. But she's been so kind, accepting Pii's apology that we all know isn't genuine, not sending out any hate or blame even after what those fucking assholes did to her. She had my sympathy before, but now she has my utmost respect. Wish more adults were like her.
All you have to do to get pink sauce is take reddish/pink food coloring and put it in ranch dressing. There's your pink sauce.

Pretty sure the fact that allie is white and pee is black is the reason that the show host and audience took pee side and even put all the blame on allie when she graciously tried to end it with saying they were both at fault (even though allie did nothing wrong). Also she still indirectly blamed allie in the apology by saying "should have come from a place of forgiveness not anger".
She still does not care about her customer safety or concerns. Luckily I doubt there will be any more issues with the sauce since she isn't the one making it.

Most of them who go viral or gain fame don't- they often don't give one or it's an half-assed apology b/c most people don't like to be wrong or have a hard time owning up to their mistakes and poor choices. The way she speaks does not align with the wordage in the apology. To make matters worse she made a video after the interview to continue victimizing herself to which things got worse for her so the PR side her brand has enough motive to encourage an apology “from her” (not necessarily by her) for damage control.
The moment Chef Pii sent out a raw sauce with no refrigeration and then bold faced lied that it is fine, was the moment she lost me. This interview is just the nail in the coffin.

At this point, I didn't even buy the sauce, and I want my money back lol. Karamo eradicated all of his credibility with that interview. Chef Pii was out of her depth and wasn't just avoiding accountability, but actively running from it, shoving other people in its way. Her apology to Allie is a notable step in the right direction. Hopefully, she continues down this path.
Now let’s see if her apology is sincere by fixing her product.

Literally every time I see this and they remind me that she was offered a brand deal I get so heated. She does not deserve to profit and be successful the way that she's going to be after the way that she treated people as far as I'm concerned it's just rewarding bad behavior and a terrible attitude. She’s still the face of the product, my guess is that she signed a clause or two that instructs people to stay on their best behavior. Everything she does or doesn’t do is now under scrutiny, since she intentionally stirred the pot. Her consistent dismissal of the publics concerns and disrespectful manner not only tarnished her reputation but it hurts any company that’s endorsed her product, or that her pink sauce has financial ties to.

If she truly felt remorseful, she would’ve reflected on the interview she did with Karamo & All. You don’t have to apologize to her in front of the world, but letting the world know you have done some deep and personal self-reflection is the best course of action.

I might sound bitter here, but I don't think that apology was genuine. She showed Ally so much hate on the show, I don't buy the whole stress and bad mental health excuse. I bet since she's launching her sauce with a partner she was advised on how to handle the situation and what to include in her apology (take accountability, find common ground etc).
