Helyes, sok sikert vele xD It will be kinda hard y'know
Hahah!
5 nappal ezelőtt kezdtem el tanulni a magyar nyelvet. Szerintem a magyar nyelv gyönyörű!
Nem hiszem, mert amit írtál, az tökéletes; így nem lehet megtanulni semmit 5 nap alatt..
This is what happens when you fall in love with a Hungarian man... I gotta learn it. Sounds beautiful 💝
What a condition we are in..😂
ohh same lol
Empty Seat ur hungarian?
Kiko Salossian yeah, why?

My father is Hungarian and as a child l spoke fluently. It was so nice to hear some of the phrases spoken again. It made me want to learn the language again.

I’m Finnish and pronouncing is super easy to me😎! Our languages are related indeed! Best greetings from Finland!
Lotta&Kik Vlogs Finnland looks really awesome. I defenetly want to visit.
Barely related. It is the closest language to Hungarian though!
Have never been to Finnland .We are the ugro-finnish group, have met lot of fast-switching Nokia guys working
in CH . Best greetings from Northern Carpats .
Turkish sounds similar too I could easily pronounce both Finnish and Hungarian
interesting!
I'm learning since 3 months hungarian at the beginning i was like it's to hard for me i could never speak it and now i can all of this from this video it's so beautiful language i keep continue to learn it.
My Mother died when I was 6 yrs. old, but I can remember her eldest sister speaking to me in Hungarian and not understanding anything she said. I wish I could learn the language and that is why I am watching all the videos. Thank you for being such a thoughtful teacher ! Keep up your beautiful teaching, please. ( :
Omg im 50% Hungarian And I Never Knew How Cool This Langue Im So Proud To Be Hungarian
My friend is from slovakia but she speaks hungarian in her family and at first it sounded sooo funny when I heard her talking it on the phone. I already knew few phrases but never said anything. Now I am going to surprise her next time I visit her.
The only thing that I'd change is to say the Hungarian word very very slowly. And give us a chance to pronounce it. Maybe say,"repeat after me" and then say it one syllable at a time.
Örvendek was my favourite. In the middle of a trip to the Baltics, we stopped by in Hungary for two days and met a young man in the tram. An old man saw us talking to the young Hungarian and started dancing for us. That was so sweet, and I couldn't say anything. Örvendek would have been something I could have had prepared easily for any situation to be nice.
Bojler eladó = Boiler for sale
I have seen that in the comments section of a Magyar YT video. Is it a joke?
No, it's a Hungarian meme or something
It's kind of a joke. It's used anytime Hungary comes up in a post or something online. Hungary is often an afterthought in comparison to other countries, so when it is mentioned, this phrase is used by a Hungarian and usually other Hungarians will jump in talking about said boiler in order to continue the joke. I believe it comes from a longer joke that's told in Hungary, but online, it's an inside joke for Hungarians as a kind of "finally, someone mentioned us!".
Nice introduction to Hungarian. I was born in the USA but my dad came from Hungary. He did not speak to me in Hungarian so I could learn it when I was young. A big mistake because Hungarian is difficult for me to learn now as an adult.
Same! Mother never spoke Hungarian . I never heard my Grandmother speak it. But she had a heavy accent. I loved it!
I would love to learn Hungarian because it’s part of my heritage. Also I could read the many letters that have been written to my mother’s family. I don’t know much about their life before coming to US. I know it was difficult. Culture shock . .
I had a book I got from my mom, learn to speak Hungarian.
It started with the alphabet and pronunciation-
That was enough to make my head spin!
But I absolutely think it’s a beautiful language.
Why am I watching this I’m Hungarian
Probably to make sure they are doing it right. :D
interesting, interesting....
lmao
Nem baj...en is neztem, lajkoltam is, ez a lany beszel nagyon szepen angolul!!!
Because of beautiful speaker. I watched this too. I'm Polish
This is so well put together.
The teacher is great, thank you!
I really fall in love with this lenguage. I can’t stop learning it. Thanks for the lesson.

"Merre van a mosdo?" Cycling 2 weeks through Hungary and will need this! This lesson was excellent. It brings back memories of my Hungarian grandparents, uncles and father of words and phrases I heard as a boy.
Nagyon köszönöm! :) Many thanks for offering these free courses! I would feel very good if I would be able to talk with Hungarian people easily.
Thank you so much for doing these videos!. Very useful phrases for someone starting out learning this very difficult language.
I learned Hungarian from three books but it’s hard to conceptualize without people explaining it. I understand it to an A2-B1 level but I want to interpret my birth language and I believe in going back over the basics to maintain it so I can’t wait to watch all these videos!
Lena, you are very good at explaining things and you are so funny!!! The new videos are even better haha =D
Very helpful, thanks!
My favourite phrase was “Nem tudom mit mondjak” because I can use it when someone says something to me that I dont know how to answer in Hungarian
Excellent teacher!
Thank you for this wonderful video, great graphics and content and Lena as a Host, you are superb, Szupi:) Köszönöm szépen
Now I can't live without knowing why "jó napot" would sound weird when addressing kids!!!!
Isn't it obvious? You don't speak formally with kids. You wouldn't say “Good day” to a child, you'd probably say “Hey” or something like that.
It is simple. Between friends or in the same social group, we use friendly greetings. For example helló, szia, szerbusz, szervusz, jó éjszakát (good night). You should use good morning (jó reggelt) or good afternoon (jó napot or szép napot) or good evening (jó estét) or see you later (viszontlátásra) at the street, in the office, in the shop.
If you use formal or official greeting for friends it will add more meaning for the situation.
About the kids, You need to use the friendly form when you meet with them except for helló. And use bravely their name. For example szia Adam, szerbusz Peter, szia Anna, szia, szerbusz etc. And do not forget to learn plural form. :D
Very helpful. Köszönöm szépen!
Very helpful Thank you so much
Nagyon köszönöm szépen. Very helpful
thank you so much! I knew some of them already but it was very helpful i'm currently learning hungarian :D
Your videos are awesome! I'm watching and learning from them to get the personalized lessons soon :D

Great lesson!! Koszonom!
thanks best simple tutorial ive found
Thanks.very clear in explaining
Very useful great teaching. Thank you
It's so good thank you
More thanks. I like all your lessons
Very good. I was raised by Hungarian family but lost the ability to speak. These phrases sure brought back memories, thank you.
Very nice thanks 👍
You are great, thank you
Nagyon köszönöm Lena
Never feel that you have to learn Hungarian just because you have hungarian bf/gf except if you live here. We Hungarians know how hard is it to learn, we don't expect foreigners to learn it, so I don't think the lack of Hungarian will affect any relationship. :D
Nagyon jo koszonom!
ez egész jól ment, :D várom a következő leckét!
Thanks very much good lesson❤️❤️❤️
This lanugaua is amazing and it's my dream to speak :)
Well that explains why the group of elderly men reacted that way when I said Sziasztok to them.. oops
thank you ❤️ ☺️
I'm from the philippines and this is really a big help for me..thank you so much
very nice video, thanks
Thank you..💕..
You are the best Hungarian start 😀
the best channel for hungarian learner :33
Bojler eladó! :D
My Hungarian friends say "Jo reggelt" only until about 9 or so, they told me. Then they switch to good day.
Yes, they are right! Unfortunately, there are errors in this video. :(
Depends when you get out of bed...:))
Everyone say it differently, but no one hurts if you say it before noon. I always say Good Morning till 10AM, Good day from 10 AM to 6PM, Good Evening till I go to bed, and before I fall asleep I say Good Night! :)
Szia seems easy 🤙🏽
awesome, köszönöm :^]
This language sounds so nice :)
Nekem ez a "nagyon köszönöm" elég furán hangzik, talán harmincszor ha kimondtam amióta beszélek. Ellenben a "köszönöm szépen" kifejezést midig használom és másoktól is sokkal többször hallom.
Igen, koszonom szepen is correct, unless, you add other things such as "nagyon koszonom a kedvessegedet"
Very nice ❤❤❤❤
Késöbb találkozunk = see you later, xxx I love this one x
It's funny for me watching this because I understand everything :) I'm a hungarian, but youtube was just advised me this video :) It's a good thing to teach people speaking our language, because it's so magical and it's a good feeling, because we have beautiful words. I know it"s not easy to learn the second hardest language, but this chanel tell it so nicely. I was so lucky to learn hungarian first from my parents when I was born and after that English, because it's easier. Good luck for everybody! :) Sok sikert kívánok mindenkinek!
It's not even in the top 20 of difficult languages, but it is fascinating & beautiful!
I am from Azerbaijan and prononcuation is super easy for me
Very nice vedio.
Svervusztok!
Keep going 🥰💖
I`ve just started learning Hungarian! And I consider it as a personal challenge: Learning this difficult language step by step. The sentences that called my attention : Visontlátásra, Elnézést, Várj egy pillanatot , Örvendek, Jó éjszakát..... All these sentences sound weird to me. My native language is Portuguese from Brazil.
Fabio Gomes how are you doing?
Fabio Gomes did you make any progress?
giorgio nagy Sure..I feel I am making some progress... Now I am looking for a good Hungarian Grammar..
giorgio nagy I am doing fine! I am looking for a Hungarian Grammar...I`ve already learned a couple of words...
Fabio Gomes a good UA-cam channel for learning hungarian is this one: HungarianProject, especially the older videos.
Great
We rather use "Hogy hívnak?" instead of "Mi a neved?" and "Hány óra van?" instaed of "Mennyi az idő?".
Szia Christensen44!
Thank you for your comment.
Both are completely correct in Hungarian and are used in the same way, so please don't hesitate to learn and use both!
Sok sikert!

magyar vagyok, de azért köszi :)
The above questions fit practically to children, among adults they are a bit crude. Among educated people: "Kihez van szerencsém?" (word by word: Whom I have luck to? or:"Szabad a(z Ön) nevét?" ( May I know your name? ) or "Kit tisztelhetek Önben?" (= Who may I respect in you?) It depends on the situation which form will be the best. E. g the last one is the most polite.
Hello. it was nice video i will follow you by watching more video ..my question how can i say in Hungarian my best wishes to you ?
Kedves Abdulla Monaim!
Thank you very much for your kind feedback!
You can say: A legjobbakat kívánom Önnek! - Best wishes to you! or A legjobbakat kívánom Önöknek! - (you as second person of plural).
A second, simpler way is to say All the best! - Minden jót!
Please don't hesitate to send us a comment if you have any other questions!
Minden jót!

Később találkozunk.
YAY, my favourite expression was: "Mi a neved/mi a neve??" LOL, I never ever ask something like that, despite its about a dog or cat or some animal... The right question is; "Hogy hívnak? / Hogy hívják Önt?" :D ...and there were some other mistakes, too :( Nevertheless, awesome vid and good to see that so many ppl are interested in the Hungarian language.
You can come across "Mi a neve?" - like when the police ask your name, they will most probably use this, or in government offices. A very official form, but definitely not a mistake.
merci , keuseuneum
Did you provide the voice for the Ilovelanguages hungarian video?
I love this girl. You are so lovely
Nagyon koszonam Beautiful lady.
Közsi , loves from Turkey
Many thanks I found this very useful!! However, only one minor request please if you can please “enunciate” your words a bit more at the start, this is very helpful to us novice Hungarian students. I am only learning because I am now in my fourth year of visiting for dental treatment and it seems very bad to have been there so many times and not attempted to learn the language. Otherwise I will just have to revert to my well trusted Doooo Yooooouuu Spur-eeeaak En -ger-lish?
Very useful and so nice girl
My favourite word so far is viszontlatasra! 😘
:D very intresting. otherwise we use this form rarely, we use rather the shorter form: viszlát!
Good
Her facial symmetry is nearly perfect.
Please, I need places names or street names how can you help me ?thanks
Im sri lanka .. im hungary language and lern english thank you
Very good lesson, and a very cute teacher. Thanks a lot.
What about "Jó estét"? It's used from around 5 PM until late in the night when you meet somebody.
xbqchm Jó estét én is hiányoltam. A jó reggeltel pedig az a helyzet, hogy ha 11 órakkor is így köszönnénk biztos, hogy megszólnának, hogy "na ez is jó sokáig (döglött) aludt".
Jó estét! is from about 6-7 PM.
Hi Lena, I got a translation of "pleased to meet you" from that "google translate" thing and I wrote out, phonetically what it said. The result was "ooh roo loo ka tah lah koh zahsh nak". All my own phonetics. Does this phrase really mean what it claims, or was the google translate website inaccurate?
google translate isn't really accurate.
@@lollibagtrash9763 Yeah, I think it's only at it's best for individual words.
in my opinion, hungarian little hard, because hungarian sentence structure, some word etc similar like japanese, korean and mongolian etc. english is so hard

Greaaat deliveryyyyy .... Not annoying at aaalllll! 😏🙄
You look like the actress Lisa Kudrow :)
But... you need to understand the finely-tuned social level system that is intrinsically built into the Hungarian language (kind of like Japanese). Some of these phrases are weird, condescending, sarcastic or even directly offending in the wrong context or with the wrong emphasis. I am still learning, but this is by far the most tricky part of learning Hungarian.

I met this beautiful girl called Brigi, and here i am, things you do for love
