  • On Amazon Web Services (AWS) you can easily deploy highly available and fault tolerant servers across multiple data centers.
This is achieved by leveraging AWS Auto Scaling, Amazon Elastic Load Balancers and multiple Availability Zones (AZs).
In this AWS video tutorial, you'll learn how to deploy web servers across multiple AZs in an Amazon VPC with Auto Scaling and an Application Load Balancer.
Neal Davis, Founder of Digital Cloud Training, will demonstrate the auto scaling and load balancing functionality.
Follow along and build this elastic application yourself using the following code: youtube-code-download-32132b3...

we had the auto scaling group scale up the count of running instances. How do we setup target tracking to scale down to the desired/minimum capacity ? In another vein, how does one clear the cloud watch alarm in this case?

I am not getting the alarms in CloudWatch after running the launch template many times. Any idea how to resolve?

Will it auto scale in also? After the load has decreased on the instances?
