  • “Aegukka” & “Inteonaesyeoneolga” - National Anthems of the Korean People’s Republic
The Korean People’s Republic, in this world never fell to division with the Soviet North Korea and American South Korea. The USSR and USA maintained good relations after WW2 and there was no Cold War. As the US and USSR were allies, an agreement was made in 1946 that the Korean occupation zones would be handed back to the original KPR transitional government from 1945.
The type of government was a Democratic Republic, in the first election, popular Socialist, Kim Il Sung won. He managed to form a socialist economy under a democratic system, it was very popular with the Korean Public.
Currently, the KPR is known as the world’s shining example of how Socialism can be done correctly, and is an example of the US and USSR’s friendship can benefit humanity.
The Korean People’s Republic is a far cry from the Totalitarian “Juche” State run by the North Koreans today, and the Capitalist Dystopia in the South.

This is why you can't escape Korea (positive edition)
Because their culture, their foods, their drinks, all makes you feels happy to live forever here! So, this is how you can't just easily leave Korea.

I was just thinking about an alternate history timeline where the US and USSR agreed to coexist- specifically for the purposes of space exploration and colonization. Interesting bit of lore here!

Korean here, we would just pronounce it as ‘inteonahsheonal’, the ‘ga’ at the end just means ‘song’ and is usually only applied to more traditional songs.

The first one sounds like Auld Lang Sine and the second one sounds like one of USSR's former anthems

Aegugka 에국가 was originally sung to that hymn until Ahn Eak-Tai composed original music for it.

The internationale was used by the USSR, yes, but has always been a song to represent revolution as a whole
