I wish there was a quick button press to add a menu to My Menu instead of having to search every option in the "add Item" list.
There is something important to know. During recording you can't open the menu but you can open the Fn menu. So add stuff accordingly.
If you only have just a few focus areas there is also "Switch Focus Area" button assignment. It toggles between all selected focus areas by pressing that button without opening the entire overlay.
I usually use PP11/S-Cinetone all the time but if i don't i just go down once and i end up at the top on the OFF position.

Great tips. I’ve setup the custom buttons for quick workflows and access to settings. Another powerful feature.

I have loved using S-Cinetone as PP1 and SLog-3 as PP2. Part of the reason I wish people didn’t just say “I use PP_!” Great tips!

For quick access to many settings: tap “display” button (in shooting mode) until the entire screen shows many settings and icons (but no “live view). It looks like a static info screen. Then press the Fn button to light up one setting - navigate (up/down/left/right) to change the setting that is highlighted. Press the center button to change the value of the highlighted setting. Press Menu to exit the setting screen. Press the Fn button to return to the static info screen. Press Display to return to live view.
The feature has been around for a long time - as a way to mimic how display/settings work on DSLRs - but seldom hyped.
