Chessbase India, if I have to express, your passion has the large effect, which we cannot directly relate, but I know you are covering Gukesh and even younger kids without any targets of views on channel, last 8-9 years you as a channel has contributed immensly
Many people dont know but the level of preparation it takes for the World Championship is insane. Takes a mental toll on both the player and team. Kudos to Gukesh's team for the hard work , the openings were amazing in most of the games.
@@evensajopenings were not usual in terms of popularity, only 4 times we had E4 opening and as many as 4 times Nf3. For people who are bored with Ruy Lopez it was really fun to watch.
The dedication that sagar shah has for chess is truly commendable..... He should be given more credits for the work he does for spreading chess throughout the indian youth... ❤🙏
Golden moment for a trainer when he sees under his guidance Gukesh bcm youngest ever World Chess Champion 👑🔥 ... Many many congrats to all the team !! 🎉
The kind of enthusiasm Sagar brings in is amazing. If I have to name one brand ambassador from India for Chess, then it should be Sagar. He has been doing a great job. He deserves more than what he gets now.
Gaju, from the way he speaks and understands chess and people playing it, is going to be a legendary coach like PHN by the looks of it. Super impressive. He emanates so much warmth and understanding. Gukesh is lucky to have him as his coach and Gaju is lucky to have a prodigy like his Gukesh as his student.
@anushtupchatterjee9977And while working in Anand's team PHN was the most important second in terms of organization, like Gaju here. Maybe Kasimdhanow was most experienced and former fide WC, but PHN put all the second's work together before giving the final files to Anand
Peter Heine Nielsen. Legendary coach. Excellent positional understanding and Magnus' main coach/second/trainer for majority of his championships@anushtupchatterjee9977
I would recommend everybody to listen to this part 48:38 (lowest point of the match for Gukesh) Amazing mental fortitude to come back strong after that.Fantastic insights from Gayu. Thanks Sagar for this interview.
I remember a video where Gajewski was just starting to work with all the kids and his remark regarding Gukesh at the time was he is always so eager to learn. And of course Gajewski became his second and now they have achieved success in the highest form. Amazing work by Gukesh and team!!
WOW! A fantastic interview. Sagar has that charm, the questions, the curiosity, the innocence that makes you so invested and feel the same. More than anything I want CBI to come to Delhi and start a wave that South India possesses. North India also needs chess and CBI. If something like this happens, I am also willing to contribute.❤
hope, in his middle age gukesh will return the favour by training polish talent....😁It is so nice to see these experts going over to train talent from other countries
If I may: Sagar does a great interview, very grounded and not loud or in-your-face....but sometimes, rarely, he finishes the other person's sentences, stopping them from elaborating further--maybe worth reconsidering that style. Just a POV. Very good interview overall, and great insights from Gayu.
Constructive criticism is never a bad thing.I think your way but I have seen lots of change happening bcz of the comments and it brings a huge difference.@@sn-vj5wx
This is the best thing Sagar do that I love the most. The Long post match interview about the games after every tournament either with players or with coach or with some super gm.He really deep dive into each game with lots of Homework that even player wanted to be asked and I'm sure the other aspiring chess player wanted to be learned. Incredible work 👏
Man, Sagar Shah, you are truly great. Your passion for chess comes through the screen in every video. And Gajewski sounds like a brilliant coach who understands chess holistically. Great interview, cannot wait for more content and more VLOGs hopefully!
Amazing insights. Hope other top players follow Gajewskis footsteps and explain what goes on in humans minds rather than explaining correct moves which we any way get from stockfish. Kudos to Sagar for such insightful interview
Thanks Saagar for the detailed video. Just one thing, you should also mention Gukesh supporters all around the world in addition to Indians, since the former do exist and I feel if we don't acknowledge them repeatedly, they will slowly start to not root for any Indian players and see chess as a nation team sport rather than individual. Also, I'd like if you read my superchats in the game 14 but I understand that it was late and there were a lot to go through. Apart from that , all's good.
Sagar is a wonderful human being and a motivator. He was there with all the chess grandmasters of India. I really enjoyed his videos. Continue your journey. Best wishes from Sri Lanka.
Great insights from the head coach there! Sagar bhai please arrange time stamps in long videos, it really help to pick out important parts when you can't watch full video
Ding really loves chess...even after a tough loss he immediately played bughouse chess for 4 hours after the game...He is much relieved and chill now 🥶
This is a fantastic interview! Gajewski is such a great mentor for Gukesh, and Gukesh will be a great role model for all young Indians. Whoever chose Gajewski chose really well.
Great interview! Great Coach! The bond that Gukesh shares with his coach is strong which can be seen in this video as well, he got emotional. I am sure they will achieve many great things ahead together. This is the beginning .
Polish people are so sweet and amazing. I have a Polish girlfriend and she was rooting for India with me even though she barely knows anything about chess. It was so wholesome when we got to know 4 out of 6 players in Gukesh team were polish.🇮🇳 🇵🇱
The team work is nothing new in chess or other sports indeed. The amount of work done by both Indian and Chinese team members is undisputably huge and admirable. Both Gukesh and Ding are immense chess talents and since their childhood fought their ways through the net of hard competition to earn the deserved respect and the publicity attracting also sponsors. Big countries have big population and also big sponsors. I think that to be a top chess player, except of an exceptional chess talent, you need to have also a big background backed by big sponsors. That is in today´s chess world a necessity. Big talent + big country + big background + big sponsors equals top success. The chess has become a big business, which has its positives (increasing the general public awareness of the game of chess and number of chess community members) and negatives too (not every chess talent gets the opportunity to shine due to lack of resources)... The person I have in mind to have realized this issue was a world chess champion Bobby Fischer. He was not stupid (most of the time), nevertheless died poor at the symbolic age of 64... His idea of reshuffling the pieces on the first / eighth rank was a noble one. An idea giving a chance to all talented children, regardless of their background and availability of resources. The idea is good for some and bad for some. I think (and might be very wrong as well) that many of today´s top chess players realize all this and slowly converge to Fischer Random Chess (or recently some more "suitable" labels like Chess 960 / Chess 9LX / Freestyle chess)...
Sagar bhai your contribution towards chess is not less than any super GM, we are fortunate that you didnt became GM else we might have missed such a mature passionate ambassador of chess
Sagar, let’s not add vishy as second. He clearly say he was not a part of his training… yes, he has been all sort of help for chess players but he wasn’t a second. You twitted it aswell. Let’s stop this obsession
Sagar Bhai, your channel is great and big in chess. It would be nice if you improve camera angle, video, and audio quality. Small changes can help a lot!
Did Gajewski mean (at 1:17:20) the game Jakovenko-Smirnov, 2013? 4r3/1p3p2/3R1Pkp/1P2p3/6P1/6K1/P7/5B1b b - - 0 40 Black played Re6 and blundered exactly the same thing as Ding did in the last game.
Sagar, for us mere mortals , it would be fascinating to understand in some level of detail what the team or seconds do to help the player prepare, what type of discussion etc . If you could do an episode focusing on some real preparation session with all the participants involved and with some real examples, that would be really great insights for us curious amateurs
It looks washed out because the colour correction (white balance) was to make Sagar bhai not look dark - that is why Gajewski and his shirt looks too white and bluish.😅
I'm proud that Polish GMs helped Gukesh achieve his success! Love from Poland
❤ Polish people are very nice. They are very humble and knowledgeable.

It's alright.

He isn't that great since he gave Gukesh some questionable openings.
