  • Ginger will be out of town for awhile so we recorded several songs at a sitting a couple of times. We don't generally wear the same clothes every day for videos! It's a fact, UA-cam has increased my income since Ginger has been playing and singing with me! Also, I'm happier playing ukulele than ever before.
Day 18. Here's another song most people in the world have not heard before. Of course, if you watch my channel regularly, it does pop up every so often. I like the song a lot and am quite proud of it.
Everybody Loves a Little Bunny. Original Rich Davis song.
18th day of Ginger and Rich playing ukulele together, singing and cutting up. I find it pretty amazing that after all these years Ginger has decided to take up ukulele and play along with me. But the really amazing thing is we seem to be able to make entertaining and nice music after only a few weeks of her starting to play.
Ginger is playing Caramel zebrawood glossy concert ukulele. amzn.to/3XuEdVx Amazon affiliate link, commission paid at no extra cost to you.
I'm playing a Caramel spalted maple tenor ukulele. Low G,CEA. This is an older model.

My, you really do have a large
repoirtoire of easy to play & sing
    songs that you memorized.
is that a two chord song?
I think that the kitten should come first in the song.
There is nothing in the world as cute as a kitten.

But, but! The kitten is too easy and universal. The bunny is a bit more unusual. Anyhow, I seldom tinker with lyrics after I've memorized them! I don't know how many chords, probably 2 or 3. Choosing chords for an original song depends on how you want it to sound. If I hear something in my head that sounds exotic I'm use Dm, Gm, C7 or Am. Soon, you'll be seeing songs with G and D in my new original songs. I haven't written any that require the island strum, though I have written a couple that I intended to use that strum for. Later, I found I preferred it played other ways.

@@richdavis4007 I have found that there are very many good songs that
      use mostly G & D chords.
I find those chords are hard to play
      and frequently changing between
      them even harder.

Yep, not so easy for me, either!

Thanks for your kind words. Ginger likes bunnies, kitties, puppies, and babies. I prefer bunnies and kitties. Ho ho. This is a good song for us and we'll grow it as we do our own play and singing.

    I forgot to mention.
Congratulations on your climb up the Amazon Pay scale. $$$$
Considering the volume of content that you provide to them,
you must really have earned it.
    Most other YT content providers
    seem to post once/per week
as far as I can see. You provide
    3/per day that I notice.

Amazon affiliate links are a benefit to viewers but pay very, very little that I can see. My UA-cam views, subscribers, watch time and income are going up. I just want Ginger and I to keep playing music and having fun. As for volume of content, Rich Davis is the beast.
