As Netflix's 'The Crown' portrays the Princess of Wales' final days, ET revisits the aftermath in Hollywood, as celebrities offered their reactions to the shocking deaths of Diana and Dodi Fayed in Paris. In the news world, Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer shared intimate memories from their relationships with Diana Spencer. British stars Anthony Hopkins and Naomi Campbell tried to convey the deep sadness felt in their native England. Like many at the time, Celine Dion told ET that her thoughts were focused on Diana's two boys, then-15-year-old Prince William and then-12-year-old Prince Harry.

Such a commemorative and great video, in the memory of a great woman as it was Lady Di. Even though, I was born 4 years after she passed away, I somehow felt her presence even as I gradually grew up. Until today, her influence beyond her time never cease to amaze me, since she was a woman very ahead of her time. I have a deeply love and respect for her. Despite that I’m not British, not even an english first language speaker.

I'm glad Anthony Hopkins mentioned Mother Theresa and the fact that she and Diana died in the same week. Sad that Mother Theresa does not get spoken about very often, considering how much she did with so little and the wonderful example she set for the rest of us.

Mohammed Al-Fayed killed her by forcing Dodi and her to travel to their apartment in Paris rather than stay at the Ritz, because he wanted the world's media to see her with his son, who was doing daddy's bidding. She was also playing games to get her ex's attention (the pakistani heart surgeon, Hasnat Khan, who KNEW he could not give her what she wanted in life). NONE of these men deserved her.

It’s still so terrible to remember. I recall thinking why her? I woke up the next morning in a bed & breakfast in northern Michigan. It was a holiday weekend in the U.S. I thought what took place a few hours ago actually happen? I remember telling the woman who owned the inn what happened. She thought I was telling her a bad joke. She went to her kitchen to start breakfast for the other guests. She turned on a small t.v. on the counter. She watched for a few minutes, she wiped a tear away and turned the t.v. off.
Such an awful weekend. We considered coming home early, but the funeral wasn’t until the next Saturday. She’s been gone for so many years now. I once thought, she was a part of the worldwide stage for just 16 years, she left her family 26 years ago. Gone longer than we had her. Perhaps we didn’t deserve her. I can’t help thinking if she were still here, would she allow this feud between William and Harry. I highly doubt it.
