To everyone who is confused, Daft Punk and some of Phoenix were a band when they lived in a small town near Paris. For some sad reason the band broke up and the people in Phoenix made a new band with some more people later on and Thomas And Guy-Manuel started working on see new music to create Daft Punk.
They had creative differences, Laurent wanted music that sounded more like what Phoenix is today, whilst Thomas and Guy-Man wanted more of the "rave" seen kind of music that was heavily featured on Daft Punk's first album "Homework" The trio has remained great friends over the last 20 years
I first heard of Phoenix because Todd Edwards (who I met through Daft Punk) did a remix of the song "If I ever feel better", which is the song they played right before Daft Punk appeared in the video
Coming in 2017: A much, Mu=UCH more elaborate version of this, except with all the artists Daft Punk collaborated with for their Random Access Memories album instead of Phoenix. What might also be cool is remixed live performances of some of their music videos, while a complementary light show flahes all around this. Sounds absolutely over the top, I know, but so was what Daft Punk tried to do with RAM. This honestly might be one of the only ways DP would be satisfied with doing another tour.

A 'small town' called, 'Versailles' :)
If you're a real daft punk fan, you would appreciate their entire history and be grateful to see their good old friend Phoenix performing with them.
Darlin....
Yes. So sad they broke up tho. The start synth they did kinda fits the music for the epilogue

Guys, please stop your dispute. We all came here to enjoy the beautiful music

@@assistanttotheregionalmana5841 The force from the beginnings..

It would be cool to see them do an album together now as Phoenix/Daft Punk. This sound is great.
