2016 YNW Melly serves one-year jail sentence and writes “Murder On My Mind” After being charged for firing his gun near a school, Melly served a one-year sentence in a Florida jail. According to his verified annotation on Genius, he wrote “Murder On My Mind” while behind bars. Then again YNW Melly was arrested in February 2019, under the charges of first-degree murder and also again he arrested for some information in his song murder on my mind. He is currently facing life imprisonment. The 21-year-old rapper is also a suspect in the murder of a sheriff's deputy in Gifford which had occurred in 2017
There are many ideas on what could’ve happened but really anything is possible. I think it’s very possible the police could be trying to set him up, I mean it’s happened before and if you look into mellys history then he seems like a pretty likely target for someone the police want to remove from society. but at the same time if the evidence is legit and the shots were fired from the back left seat inside the car then I do believe it’s hard to find another cause for how Sak and Juvy were murdered.
But Personally i hope Melly is not guilty and gets to release more music because he his so fkn talented than most of our new generation rappers. You guys should listen to his mama cry song and you may think his using autotune but just watch some of his videos were he singing in jail he has a real beautiful melodic voice.
And he has tattooed on his forehead the name of his friend who got shot by him on his forehead. He said it was a accident like this song says he didn’t mean to shoot him. And he said on a interview that he has 2 personalities ynw melly and melvin he said melvin is the bad one and melly is the friendly on . And also he said he has 4 more personalities on his mind yeah kinda weird 😶 Whatever I hope his innocent 🙏🏼
