I am prety sure every one of us country boys has a similar story's ..lol. one of mine is going over a Steep Mountain in a Ford Ranger (6 Banger) with 3-4 Tons on the Bumper !
Stanley,my dad drove a feed truck with air brakes and he would have choice words for the ones that would pull in front of him with short notice excellent video to bad that some people don’t understand what they’re doing when they are driving 😮😊❤
Oh lord that drive into Minneapolis, bringings back old memories. I drove that exact route downdown to the American Express building where i worked. It SUCKED. that was 20 years ago. It has to be worse now. I was a Network Engineer before I retired. I don't miss any of it for one second.
White truck was a premiere truck back in the days. That was all they built were heavy application trucks. I would deliver parts to their factory in Kelona, B.C. once a week in the seventies.
I know what you mean about other road users and trucks, I used to work on a refuse wagon and I’d see all kinds. People hanging around in the blind spots, pulling out from junctions/queues etc suddenly without signalling, undertaking during turns, and, of course, those who intentionally hit their brakes in front of us hoping we’ll run in the back of them so they can file a compensation claim.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Ride alongs are always nice, it’s great to get to see the different places where we all live. Great ride alongs can be found on The Hoof GP. I think He’s located in northern Scotland, he drives a lightweight pickup and the roads are barely wider than his truck. I can’t imagine what driving an actual truck on those roads would be like. Wishing you and your family the best.
Lol, that's a good story especially the part about the teenagers cheering you on. Thats messed up HAHA I believe the good Lord was looking over you and them too
I have as many rocks as that yard you went to.Had to blast the cellar hole.My wife has a small excavator. Been building rock walls at our house.I have contractors I could have sold her rocks too but she doesnt know what rocks to keep and what to sell.

Stanley, you didn't know this because it has never come up in conversation. I was a Safety & Federal Compliance Manager for a trucking company for 2 1/2 years. I know what you are talking about with DOT compliance
Love seeing you work with Garrett. He's got one hell of a company. Love his enthusiasm about what he does. Hope you have a great weekend!

I know where those boulders are going!!!
Growing up on a farm and driving semis for many years, I was always taught to give your truck room between vehicles, and give other trucks room.

It's amazing how many people hop in their cars and immediately forget Newton's First and Second Laws of Motion.

My dad was sitting in a turn lane and had a load of gravel dumped on his car. Thank God it was a sturdy suv Isuzu Trooper.
2 years ago we saw the same thing happen at the same intersection and the truck and trucker were not so lucky and he laid it on it's side.
Thanks and God bless.
Same to you!
God bless Stan
