idk why people are so mad over it its basically turning your rocket launcher into a shotgun thats extremely good in close range, like how scope shot turns the rocket into a sniper
Even with its nerfs and decline in popularity, I would say that the Crystal Blaster is still the best rocket for general use. It has a great mix of damage, speed and cooldown, it's easy to learn, and the blast radius nerf is so small it usually doesn't matter (actually with how generous the damage and hitboxes are one could think it has a bigger blast radius). Overall, it's a good rocket for aggressive playstyles, but yes its only real weakness is its lack of range (though you could make up for that by using sticky bomb).
the reason why i picked up crystal blaster is because i focus on destroying the towers, and crystal is the most applicable because of that CD buff compared to the others, hoss hog has a more crippling radius nerf, arm cannon lowers your base destruction apm, and while rockstar does work, it's rough for other reasons being a spamming butthead in pvp alongside chucking coconuts are the only way i can cover for being crap at it otherwise lol the thing absolutely carrying my gameplay just a plus on the side this is why i dropped remote detonator when it was nerfed; not because of "peak" mosquito gameplay being nerfed (i respect your time), but because of it's it's cooldown nerf now making it worse for base destruction, and i might as well do gimmicks with sticky instead plus, midair rocket jumps are cool :)

Same here, i actually really love the crystal blaster and sure even tho i dont use it often i still find it very op
Ive always loved crystal for its mobility rather than damage being able to rj every 5 or so seconds is so silly
