- Today was our last day in Dubai and we sent it off with a bang! BUT.... It ended with the most embarrassing moment ever for someone.. Having to do with walk of shame in the middle of a themepark!!

Hi Sarah hope your ear is better... Please do go to a doctor about it especially as you cannot hear at all... I too suffered with sudden hearing loss when I was 27 years old (am now 44)..I left it too long and was admitted to hospital where I received cortisone. The hearing slowing came back but have ever since had tinnitus.... This doesn't have to be your cause... It's most likely has to do with water in your case... But don't leave it too long..... Look after yourself.... All the best to you and your lovely family... Greetings from Germany 😊

Boots soltan 50+ is amazing. Make sure the the uva box at the back has 5 stars, then you know it’s a good suncream!!

It took me a while to understand the "walk of shame" part. I used to be a real daredevil on rides, but my body is more sensitive and after 3 very sick preganancies, I am more sensitive to heights and fast rides. I totally understand Chris.
Ultra sun is fantastic- bit more expensive but worth it - we always use it in Florida ( I usually buy it from QVC!) x
Boots sol is absolutely amazing , discovered it 15 years ago and it’s the best on the market

P20 quite expensive for sun cream but definitely worth every penny, enjoy the rest of your holiday 😀 xxx
Hawaiian tropic is really good and so is Bondi sands. Oh and Neutrogena is really good too 😊
The best sun cream by far is P20.. you can get it in all different factors it’s on the more expensive side but it’s amazing!! Xx
Boots soltan sun cream is amazing and has a higher up rating than nivea too! They do a pack with a 50, a 30, a 15, a 30 face and an after sun for around £22 so good value too!

Ultrasun is great only have to apply once a day and only top up after swimming, really good on sensitive skin and children x
Loved the family holiday vlogs for this trip. Sarah you should try Sultan easily available from boots. It has a high uva and uv star rating ( 4 or 5 which is the highest protection rating). Used in 37 to 40 degree celsius heat and did not burn once with just 2 to 3 applications throughout the day. Which is very good considering i have fairly senitive skin x
My ear was the same when i went to florida, it went away after about a week but then came back when i got it wet again. i assume its to do with the flight altitude going there and then submerging your ears in water🤷🏼♀️
Only ever use the aldi sun cream for our family. Your holiday looks amazing 😍

Ultra-sun suncream is the best honestly it’s the only suncream that actually protects my skin from burning it’s a bit pricey but it’s so worth it ❤️
We use P20 and it’s been excellent when we were in Dubai last year couldn’t recommend more. It’s not cheap but it’s great stuff x
According to my doctor. The factor on a sun cream indicates how often you should reapply it. So factor 50 should be reapplied every 50 minutes and after being in water
I would recommend Ultrasun for you all. May be a little more expensive but use once daily and I have never burnt or neither have my grandchildren. Leaves you with a lovely tan. X
Hi Sarah have you ever used hop ear candles - they may help you sort your blocked ear out Holland & Barrett ones are the best! I swear by them when I have ear problems 😀
Ultra Sun is so good, I’m pale and it works wonders. You put it on just once in the morning wait 15mins before going in the sun/pool and it lasts all day you don’t need to reapply!

Why do people say the floor instead of the ground when they are outside and the ground instead of the floor when they are inside? I don't understand that.
P20 is a really good suncream, it’s kinda like an oily one but it’s really good and lasts all day. Although it is £20 per bottle
When using Factor 50 and still burning you should maybe go for a lower factor e.g factor 30. It simply has less chemicals so it’s better for you!
P20 is the only sun cream that I don't burn with.
I noticed the radfor d's mentioned when they went to Florida the day they didn't use it they all burnt
Boots factor 50+ and Aldi factor 50+
don't use the kids Nivea as which has found it not to be protective.
My ear used to play up like yours Sarah, I found that if I do a steam facial with a tiny bit of Vicks or ok as oil in the water I found it was my sinuses that were blocked causing the sound to be muffled in my ear xx
you can buy 70 plus sunscreen i think in some countries you cant use 50 plus got to use higher protection im not sure where they sell it but here in Australia some areas reach 48 degrees
Use p20 factor 50, I went to Cape Verde, I put it on once and that’s it, i was in and out the pool aswell and sat directly in the sun! I’m ginger aswell so have fair skin! Highly recommend xxx
My son is allergic to Nivea, we have tried so many different creams, Nivea is the only one he reacts too. I burn so easily but find the Ambre Solaire to be the best for us all! X
Best sun cream to use is p20 it’s so good! But expensive x
Sarah you can get a sun cream that’s 60+ but not everywhere sells it .. Amazon or eBay might be your best bet x
The pressure in the plane may have perforated ur ear drum deff get it checked xx

The ones I use and find that works really good is and I'm allergic to the sun silly I know but it's true and I love the sun but I use sunbum and Australian gold they work really good and come in all different uv protection
Sun cream - I burn with Nivea and Pitzbuin gives me heat rash. The garnier for body is brilliant and body Shop skin defence spf 50+ for the face (I do it body shop at home as my own business but honestly not why I recommend it - it actually works lol)

Everyone is a little different I guess. I can handle heights but I would never go on a rollercoaster.
Ultrasound is a good suncream. I'm very pale and so is my son and its really good for our skin
Aldi’s baby 50plus suncream is the best we have used. We put it on adults and kids x
what has happened to your ear happens to me all the time it is annoying but now just a normality for me. it will either be due to your ears producing too much wax which can happen in water (doesn’t feel like it’s from water but that can trigger it) or if you generally produce more wax in your ears also, i would just recommend to get your ears syringed as i do every six months and that should help. 😊
I'm albino so need sunscreen that works I use the neutrogena beach 50+ and I don't burn

I don’t know if you have Garnier OMBRELLE SPORT ENDURANCE Sunscreen UVA +UVB MEXORYL TECHNOLOGY SPF/FPS 60 BROAD-spectrum protection in the UK 🇬🇧 but if you do it works very well I’ve used other sunscreen brands and I burn but since I started using this I haven’t burned once
P20 is the best sun screen it lasts 10 hours and it’s waterproof

Chris do not worry. I stood in a one hour line with my hubby and girls and as soon as it was our turn I turned around and went to the exit. I was not interested in the roller coaster and was doing it for them. I finally decided the anxiety was not worth the 4 minute ride. I would never of gotten on that swing ride ever and I love the swing rides. Isla is a beast when it comes to rides a little dare devil!

Can you please explain about the rules in Dubai with clothing? I’ve heard you have to cover but you guys haven’t covered in hardly any clips.. I really want to go but I’m scared about the clothing rules (I’m not married)
Nowadays they are much more relaxed in their rules about clothing. However, do your research before you go to stop yourself worrying x
