Teens wanted for murder in Duval County arrested in Georgia after high-speed chase, police say

- Four juveniles, including three wanted on murder charges out of Duval County, Florida, are being held in a youth detention center after a high-speed chase in Kingsland Friday night, police said Monday.
At 10: 43 p.m., a Kingsland Police officer reportedly saw a black Honda Accord driving south on I-95 Friday, going 96 miles per hour, KPD said in a news release. As officers tried to catch up to the vehicle, it continued speeding, reaching more than 120 miles per hour and refusing to stop, the release says.
The vehicle exited the interstate onto St. Marys Road heading east, then made an abrupt U-turn and headed back west, the release says. Officers were then able to use spike strips on the vehicle to get the driver to pull over, according to the release.
Police officers, as well as a Camden County Sheriff's Office deputy, detained all the people who were inside the vehicle, which registration records showed was stolen out of Jacksonville.
The driver of the vehicle was a 12-year-old boy, and the passengers included a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy, as well as a 15-year-old girl, all from Duval County, according to the release. Investigators found that the driver and two of the passengers had active warrants for their arrest for home invasion and second degree murder out of Duval County.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office detectives were contacted and responded to the scene, the release says.
The driver and all three passengers were detained and are currently being held at the Regional Youth Detention Facility, according to the release.
The driver is being charged with theft by bringing stolen property into the state, speeding, reckless driving, fleeing and attempting to elude and fugitive from justice. The other occupants were all charged with theft by receiving stolen property and with fugitive from justice, the release says.

Cars sold here in NC have turn signals available only as a high-cost option. Generally, an $8,000 - 10,000 expense depending on the Mfr. so essentially NO drivers here have the ability to signal their intentions. It's up to other drivers to use their own telepathic abilities to look ahead in time. Those of us without telekinesis generally just shout "Holy $#!+!!11 WTF!!🤬

That's ridiculous...turn signals would add less than $100 to install and failure to indicate turns is an offence in most places and indicating is just common sense.
