There also used to have an old 85 (formerly 860 then 865), which ran from Sengkang to Harbourfront Centre. The remainder was left out to 119 after 2003 NEL Rationalisation, but Admin will be discussing in a future video.
As a suggestion: speaking of Bedok feeders, there is a unique one I recall from my youth that may be worth mentioning. There used to be a feeder 227 that ran from Bedok Interchange to Bedok North Depot, and at one point, 227 used to start from the depot and loop at Bedok Bus Interchange. 227 is unique in that its looping point is an actual bus depot, and passengers used to board and alight at the bus stops outside the depot, since obviously the depot is off-limits to the public. Later on, bus service 17 was introduced which ran parallel to 227, and after a few years, 227 was withdrawn. Today, shortworking trip 17A more or less runs the same route, except buses turn around at Changi South Lane instead of the depot, before resuming its journey as service 17.

This video is entertaining with cross sign. Did you draw the route like old Service 20 route yourself on google map? Anyway it's useless to have a bus service nowadays that goes to IMH commuters can just walk from nearest bus stops along Hougang Ave 4 and Buangkok Green. There used to be some Bukit Panjang Bus Services last time such as Services 179 and 343. I guess both Services 179 and 343 were withdrawn once Bukit Panjang LRT Opens but got re-introduced Service 179 this time round under SBS Transit from Boon Lay to NTU.
@@TIB1234T Actually, that's not the case. "256 + 258 = 258, 256 bye bye" How can you withdraw 256, as it is already merged with 258? That's what I'm most confused of.

Spoilers for the video, so do not hit "Read More" until after you are done watching. ... ... ... ... The other service 84 is now a part of current service 80, which itself was integrated with then service 864 (Sengkang - Marina Centre). As for why the number 80 was chosen, probably to avoid the '4 is death' taboo. Service 60 was born as an integration of feeders 226 and 385, after feedback from residents requesting for 385 to be extended to Bedok (allegedly). Service 60 also did not serve the slip road towards Bedok (also called Bedok Reservoir Road, and is the current looping point for feeder 228), and once again, feedback from residents played a part to have 60 ply the slip road in both directions. The old service 20 used to run minibuses as part of its fleet (I forgot the name, but if I see the picture, I'll recognise it right away). The old service 116 is probably the oddest route I have seen, truth be told. No other trivia to add on for this one. Actually, 57 and 274 used to operate together for some time. It was only after 175 was introduced when the feeder route was fully withdrawn. There was also a feeder service 275 that looped at Bukit Purmei Avenue. Like 274, it also coexisted with 131 when the latter was amended to loop at Bukit Purmei Avenue (it also helps 131 already runs the red/white destos system) before 275 was withdrawn and replaced with current service 131M.
@SGTransportBus135 Not exactly, and the reasoning for withdrawing bus 5 was strange to begin with. It was withdrawn as part of the BPLRT rationalisation (which was odd, since 5's route was in no way running parallel to the line), while 961 took over the routing between Crawford Street and Lorong 1 Geylang Terminal. The closest you can get to the route of the old bus 5 today is 970.
According to sgwiki, the trunk bus service at Kampong Bahru Terminal (120, 121 and 122) used to serve Jalan Aman Terminal.

Hmm in a way the defunct 116 is now downgraded to the shuttle service between Hougang MRT and IMH?
