- This 1976 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale has been parked in my dad's garage for 40 years, will it run? This is the forth and final video in "The Garage" series. Sadly, my father passed away in May. I only have a week to attempt to get his old vehicles running.

WOW!! Such an amazing truck. Your dad had great taste and took great care of this beauty. It's like looking into a time-machine.
I started watching these videos because I looked up Opel Kadett on youtube out of curiosity (there was one in the extended family when I was a kid, but I never knew much about them). Of the four, I first though the Corvette was a keeper, but I think this C10 takes the cake! I drove behind one a few weeks ago, complete with old '70s California blue and yellow plates. I was in my convertible and was really enjoying and admiring the smooth exhaust sound coming from it, and I assumed it had been nicely restored by some collector. But as I passed it, I saw that it was being driven by a little old (tough looking) lady, who I can only assume was the original owner. I bet she probably still brings it to a Cnevy dealer for service and they probably jump through hoops for her to find parts and keep it going!
Beautiful truck, I’d love to own it. The one and only negative I can see with it would be the metal pieces on the seat back. Sitting in the sun on a hot day, those things will brand your back. My dad had a 65 Mercury wagon with similar pieces. Climb in the car, lean back, and oh man. It would get your attention really fast....... Thanks for the great video!
