Thanks Jeff. I can’t get enough of this truck. Next spring can’t come sooner!
The TrailHunter is a really sweet truck. I never knew Toyota trucks would come with its own air compressor. WOW!!
That air compressor is a really nice add. Super easy and cheap to get aftermarket options but this is clean.
Finally someone tests out the back seats! Thx Jeff!
A smaller rear window piece is just killing me. For my daughter that's one of the most important functioning pieces of a pickup truck. But perhaps for security or whatever other reason, those windows are getting smaller and smaller and smaller.
Love the look of the new toco just wish they made the back glass roll up and down like the toyota tundra instead of that small window also if you take the interior of the 24 TRD PRO with that new seat design put it in the Trailhunter would be perfect 🤌🏻
They should have a power down rear window.
I suppose I'm in the minority, but I love the truck and hate the rims. I like the Off Road rims better. I am getting the off road if it can be purchased with a 6' bed. If no OR long bed, the Trail Hunter may be my choice. As usual, great overview. You seem to get more time with the trucks than a lot of the UA-cam crowd. Maybe you have juice with Toyota.
By the way, that Toyota engineer mentioned they were going to drop the moon roof from Trail Hunter because they think so many buyers with opt for the roof rack that sort of defeats the purpose.
@Toyotajeff can we fit a sheet of plywood between the wheel wells now?
It's a narrower tundra with addons but smaller engine. Love the rims!
Biggest failure is the back little crack dealer window.... They should have done what they did with the first generation Tundra sliding rear window all the way down.... I don't know why every truck doesn't have that. it's the best feature to have!
I'm looking forward to the trd off road with long bed in white. Can't wait for it to go on sale.
I think it looks amazing. But like everyone else, it comes down to price and this economy.
Would anyone Know if and when Toyota will be making a Tacoma Prime ? It would be great in this trim
When will we finally get ordering/delivery and pricing info?? Mid 24? How many more intro/reviews of vehicles we cant order Toyota?
Jeff how many feet in the air is the truck rated when you jump the truck before there is damage to the frame and suspension?🤓
The center console looks a bit like Bronco!
Hi Jeff. Why they not putting front loker on this thing?
That midsize truck dwarfs my old full size f150
everything looks amazing except..... the speedometer gauges, ew.
awesome video
In general, what is good about Toyota - it's an auto company that still makes reliable offroad trucks in their assortment of products. From reliable sedans to offroad trucks. Comparing to other companies that also make reliable or not so reliable sedans but NO real frame trucks. Or other make trucks on frame, maybe not so offroad in mind, but no sedans or sedans with limping quality.
Are the bed dimensions the same as previous Gen. I’d like to be able to fit a piece of sheet rock between the wheel wells.
Who else noticed the cow patties smashed in the tire tred? It didn't fase him at all. Lol
That’s a real nipple twister Jeff!
Too bad they’re all don’t have a rear vents 😮 I never want to ride in the back of my daughter’s 23 Taco Bell
I been waiting for this truck but sadly I can’t afford 50k or 70k for this
I would have to change the rims out. Bronze color is ok but the design isn’t for me.
Hey Toyota Jeff, is there a crew cab with 6ft bed?. Beside trail hunter model.
Toyota will have to convince me to NOT buy this truck. I’m anxious to get out of my Silverado and I’m interested in a Tacoma, maybe a TRD Sport or TRD Pro - the new body is beautiful and more powerful. However, I’m not interested in another first model year truck. I’ll wait for the 2025, and I’ll be watching the 2024’s rollout. If Toyota hasn’t made me confident over the next year that they’ve worked out the major kinks from the 2024, I may have to look at something like the Frontier with less issues. I don’t want another GM or Ford after previous issues. Really it’s Toyota’s game to lose, let’s see the MPG, price, and reliability/production issues of the 2024.
Anyone know what the specific bed dimensions will be??? They said an increase, but can't find a single thing on height and widths
Bed was raised up approx an inch because the roof was raised and inch due to the adjustment of the seating position to make it more comfortable. Bed is taller so everything stays proportional. 🤙🏼
My OCD couldn't handle him pulling that screen protector off the compressor digital display.
OEM Aluminum upper control arms - prepare yourself guys to work on the suspension when needed, because they will ... bend, over time of course. No more OEM coated iron control arms.
Yeah, aluminum arms will offer quieter and softer ride but that's the compromise. And oh, yeah, almost forgot for guys who are in the salt belt, aluminum works better for you. I'm in NC so happy not dealing with that.
Overall very nice looking Tacoma.
Still have a sunglass holder? What model last had that? Not my 21 off road thats for sure lol
MPGs!???? And Pricing!!? Enough with the tours.
The prices on these are ridiculous.
Haha, those backseats are so cramped
Not a big fan of this model. I'm sure I will run even further when the base price is revealed!
Msrp 53k. Dealers price 1,000,000 🙄
🇺🇸 Jeff, where he the cheapest Toyota 🌮 4x4 ? I can't afford anything over $31k!
@cobyjones5535 that's a 4x2. Work truck. I better get the current SR 6 ft 4x4 for $32k now. Can't find one!
Holla!!
Ugh, turbos. Sh*tty thing about this is that EVERY (let me repeat that - EVERY) turbo eventually goes out. So, go ahead and put away at least another $2,000.00 in your drawer or under your mattress ‘cause again, EVERY turbo will go out… and Toyota ain’t gonna replace them for free. Get a 3rd gen
I wish we had the option to not get the electric tailgate, That's just one more thing to go wrong or have problems with. Also not everyone is that lazy
Plus it's slower than a human. Maybe it can just be overridden by pushing it up.
Toyota can save the weight/cost of the quadruple redundant auto-down/up tailgate glamour feature if it meant I could have a full roll-down rear glass.
I wouldn't want half the crap in that truck. I'll stick with older models. I do like unlockable crontrol arm, but that's it.
$60k+ 😂
Those rims are horrendous
Alex is rip
If that's considered nice, especially compared to the 2nd and 3rd gen, then I don't wanna live in this world anymore. It's ugly and looks like a child's toy.
How much 💰
I won't even consider it if it's hybrid only..
How did you like Trailhunter? Has your opinion of 2024 Tacoma changed since you first saw it? Thanks for watching! Jeff
🇺🇸 Jeff, where is the cheapest 2024 Toyota 🌮 4x4 ? I can't afford anything over $31k!
@@seymorefact4333 sr5 will *Hopefully* be around that price point
This is the 6ft bed version? I like it alot, especially if you can get them right under 40k.
