To Diana Lincoln,To begin, if these post left to my viewers are not meant to be harmful to my character then there is no harm, but I feel the need to chime in at this point.
I didn’t get my inspiration by watching LifeAt50&Beyond.I got it from seeing a chicken wire dress form and a dress form (from a store) that I saw on Pinterest. ( I thought, the wire basket would be perfect for that DIY)
Since I sometimes do Dollar Tree crafts, I try to incorporate the materials to
make the crafts accessible to everyone. I have used the mesh baskets in other DIYs, as many other UA-camrs have.Had I gotten the inspiration from LifeAt50&Beyond I would have credited her for it.
In the time I have been posting videos on UA-cam, I have encountered the
following situations:
-I have seen videos go up after mine that look very similar to the projects I
have posted.
-I have seen videos that look very similar to projects I have posted, and they
are videos that went up earlier than mine.
-I have seen videos go up that look very similar to projects I am in the middle
of working on. This is the only occasion that has given me true pause, and when
this has occurred, I sometimes finish it and post it or sometimes I scrap the ideas all together.
In all of these situations, I have never jumped to the conclusion that someone has used my idea and not given me credit.I always chalk it up to people having similar ideas and if you are doing Dollar Tree DIYs, you are sharing a similar pool of supplies and inspiration.
All I can say for myself is that I do these videos/projects mostly for the fun of doing them, and it would give me no pleasure to post a video that was based on an idea taken from someone else, unless I was inspired by someone else's idea, in which case I would make that very clear in my video and description.
I work a full time job, and a lot of times, I have to put my projects aside when I get overwhelmed by other things, and some of my projects are worked on over months, before I finally get to the point of having a completed project to post.
All I can hope is that my track record on UA-cam speaks for itself, and the times I have done projects that involved other UA-camrs ideas, I have always made sure to make those attributions right at the top of the video. I do think it is fun to put a project together that is inspired by another project, but I would never do it and not attribute it.I understand that there are many UA-camr that do steal ideas and don’t give the credit, I am NOT one of them.Thank You, Karem

I'm doing this again with lights and spreading them all over my lawn for Halloween. Safer than the chicken wire!! Chicken wire will cut ya up. Stop all the madness. Doesn't matter who posted first. This is gorgeous! Bless each other and lift each other up.

This is incredible. It is beyond "so glue this, to this, and voila." I mean, yes this requires some creativity, you have to mold it how you wish it, but... you even show where to tighten things up. Please be proud of yourself. Also on a budget. I make items to donate to a charity museum store. Often we find display items at charity shops used, just to try to display our items. This is fabulous. I can see first off having a lot of fun making this (though I think I will put my daughter onto it, as she is a pretty good sculptor....) and I so look forward to your new ideas and DIY. I try to do things on a budget to I can keep affording to help out... and... your designs are going to help a lot of people like me. IT's. not "cheap" it is CREATIVE. That's the point, to make something using little investment but with time and care becomes something WONDERFUL, not just another piece of stuff. THANK YOU. Keep up the work!
