I used to drive limousines, so I have been around a few celeb's, never drove Delta, but I did take the kids to see her once in Penrith when we heard about an appearance / autograph signing. I don't get star struck for some reason, so that kind of allows me to see people a little closer to who they really are without having these rose coloured / star struck glasses on. We missed the signing, gates shut just before we got there, so my kids missed out on saying hi, but we walked around to the side of the stage, was just showing the kids who Delta Goodrem is and the kids thought it was great. But Delta looked over at us, smiled and gave us a wave, which my kids just thought was fantastic. She does seem to be a genuinely nice person, we've all seen the odd celebrity who thinks they can't wait to get out of there, Delta looked like she felt like staying longer, which is great to see. There's a sense of real appreciation for her fans and being an Aussie, she would be a pretty laid back type too. I hope she continues to be successful, has a long and fulfilling career, as I believe she is genuine and does deserve it.
