- Florida State could battle Miami for former Nebraska linebacker Mikai Gbayor. Should the Seminoles make a concerted effort - and possibly spend a lot of NIL - to sign another Cornhusker who knows Tony White’s defense? What about keeping him away from the Canes?
Also, FSU missed on two Transfer Portal defensive players. They need to hit on another Nebraska transfer to mitigate the losses. There are some unique wide receivers in the Portal, too. How much is FSU willing to spend?

We all know Norvell is NOT a closer. We have seen that play out too many times already. He needs to get any player, high school or transfer, on campus as soon as possible and push to get player signed.

@@jeremiahsadler3882 well he did lose the top player, on signing day, in the class Another 5 star being flipped on signing day. Again! Just my opinion, but to be transparent, I have never been a Norvell fan and he definitely lost me after the JSU loss and it’s only gotten worse. He is breaking all of FSU’s bad records. With all that being said, I hope he can prove me wrong and turn it back around next year. Go Noles!

There are a few I've highlighted already. This week should be when players start taking visits. I expect FSU offensive line news by no later than the end of next weekend.
We need to be laying bags on OL,Edge, linebacker and maybe a safety...yes we need a receiver as well,but none of it's going to matter if we don't get OLs,and make sure Tony Whites new defense can actually function. Plus I think our receivers and catching tight ends will be much better with Dugans gone. Yes we should try to get a couple good WRs,but we better solidify OL and defense first.

FSU needs him more than Miami, because he’s already familiar with his former coaches, and their system.
A GM of an NFL team drafts based on his trams stability or instability of the past year. More aggressive with instability and less aggressive with stability. Norvell needs to treat the portal this year like his job is on the line. He better get aggressive and spend.
Umanmielen from Nebraska went to Ole Miss and Jamari Butler went to LSU. So much for getting all these Nebraska defensive players. We've got 1 so far, Stefon Thompson-LB. Reasons: We got so many needs we can only afford a couple expensive NIL players, dont want to spend the money, Then who wants to play for 2-10 team when they can play for winning teams(LSU, Ole Miss). Looking at between 5-7, 6-6, 7-5 mediocre football team. If we have losing season, Norvell is gone which is good.

It would be best if you never overpaid for a player. Just make sure you find the very best players to fill the spots you need the most help.
@@champs998 Unfortunately a 2-10 team is going to have to over pay. Norvell left us no choice. Players and the coaches have to be incentivized to come to FSU at this point. It sux! 😡
