Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 8th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 4th tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Division 1 South East. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams...and not forgetting our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. A HUGE THANK YOU to Hashtag United for inviting me to this awards evening and receiving the award! It was the best five seasons of my life with my new passionate to the non league football! Every Hashtag game I went, I create bonds with my amazing Hashtag fans and making new friendships to the opponents fans like James Beardwell from Witham Town.
To clarity the one hour and half, this was the journey I taken on train to Haringey first season then got a car to Tilbury & Bowers in the past four years. It was like 45 mins to Tilbury and 30 mins to Bowers so my attendance numbers is superbly high!
This club also found my new hobby of vlogging the games hence my UA-cam channel and joining Hashtag Inclusive Utd which was the best move I made as I always wanted to play for the club! You would agree with me that without Hashtag, I wouldn't know where I will be at so I'm very grateful that this club happened and the memories I have with this club will never be forgotten.
Looking forward to the new season ahead of Isthmian Premier (Step 3) and FAWNL Southern Premier (Tier 3) and the years to come!

I love this club. From Copa 90 shenanigans, to the mysterious chairman in the division systems, to promotions and trophies. Expanding exponentially while keeping it sustainable and achieving success. I think the all time XI changed way too much but I suppose that’s what happens when most of the fanbase couldn’t vote
technically everyone could vote ;)
IMO its more to do with the age of the club rather than the voting system, players can write their own legends so much more quickly
