Ibogaine is neat and all, but the success rate is not 50-60% in general and some studies show that 1 in 3 or 1-300 could die. This also feels like the longest ibogaine treatmemt center commercial ever.

This just seems like an infomercial for an ibogaine clinic. As it stands now ibogaine is prohibitively expensive for the vast majority who could & should be able to benefit from it. Forget the fancy trappings & luxury most ibogaine clinics offer & make it more affordable so more will have access to it. I believe most of those clinics are driven more by greed than compassion for addicts & that pisses me off.

I was heavily on opiates. When he says that he was on 2 g of heroin and methadone And was dope sick and did one dose of Ibogain and he felt perfect like he was floating, it is true. It is crazy how one dose of Ibogain will stop all withdrawls and then The next step, taking the high dose will stop them for the day or two after and then after a day or two it’s the small cravings you have to fight or take Follow up microdoses. At 27:00 when gentleman talks about psychedelics and how it will be incorporated into future treatments, I thought he may want to change his wording from "these drugs" to possibly "these plants". Many people have a negative association when it comes to the term "drugs". They are starting to be incorporated into treatments, maybe we ought to find a more appropriate terminology for these herbal plant allies.

The only problem with ibogaine is the price, how many heroine addicts do you know have an extra the 5-7000 dollars that you need to have before this route is even up for discussion? I tell you right now there are thousands of heroine addicts that are sitting here watching a video like this, while living in our own hell so to speak. As we watch a video like this all one can do is feel this overwhelming feeling of frustration and loss. right here in front of my face there is the answer to my problems, and prayers and all i can think about is how devastating it is knowing it is a luxury ill never be able to afford given the fact that i would have to win the lottery before i could do this. It might be the government preventing this option yes but i believe it has more to do with the cost than anything. I dont know one heroine addict out there that will tell you they love being a heroine addict, and i guarantee you would save so many lives if this was available at a price that applies to all rich and poor. because 5-7000 dollars feels like a price that is literally almost a cruel, or that all our pain and suffering and desperation to be free of it is what is being banked on?
Like the target is to help heroine addicts, so when someone was deciding how much to charge they chose that price based on what? like how is this any better than the pharma care companies? they cash in by putting us on legal meds like suboxen and methadone and know that as long as we are on that they will be making their$$. at least by doing one of those options us as the addict have the option of medical coverage, or are only required to come up with no more than 20 dollars per day to pay for a tiny piece of our life back. Or our ability to be able to somewhat function semi normally in society. Ibogaine on the other hand gives your your whole life back. I feel that is also a known fact, and at that point someone said if there were a one time medicine out there to cure you completely how much would that be worth to someone? if they really want their life back and are desperate enough they will get the money, right? pharma care banks on addicts staying addicts, they charge a small reasonable ammount over a long period of time. Ibogaine banks on how desperate and addict is to be clean, and charge an outrageous price as a one time payment but at the end of the day both parties end up going home with roughly the same amount because the cost of ibogaine is about what phama care would take home from each addict throughout the time they are prescribed methadone or suboxen. Even detox is free to go to? the people offering the obogaine experience dont realize they are creating a whole new monster in people, and if they arent careful they could be responsible for the death of a lot of people!! because I tell you right now that i am more desperate than ever to do this ibogaine, i want my fiance and i both to do it so we can be rid of this monster for good! but all night now i have been all over the internet trying to find somewhere i can buy it myself to do at home because i will never be able to aford 5-7000/each for both of us to do this. and so far i have read more than anything that you can die if you dont do it right etc etc. but in my mind its a risk i am willing to take because we are already looking death in the eyes, cheating death each time we use again. and this is what i am saying, you cant tell people like me that this is what i need to make my dreams come true, fallowed by it costs 5- 7000 to do it in a safe environment with experienced people, or i could buy it myself on the dark web and only have to pay a couple hundred dollars for the same thing the only difference is one i can afford the other is just a tease rubbed in my face by people who will never know how bad i want and need this. if i die trying oh well the reward is just worth the risk sometimes, and no i do not want to die, i am truly desperate to live actually. ps the whole new monster in people being created is this: I am not the only one out there desperate enough to do something as dumb as attempt to take a drug i know very little about on my own without supervision of an experience proffessional. Why? because its my only option. I can not afford to pay for my own team of experts to hold my hand and make sure I am ok but i will not let that stop me, i will do what i have to to get my life back, I am sure if you could see the world through my eyes for just a second you would do the same!

NA's success rate is 30% of those who attend one meeting. Iboga/ibogaine is definitely an improvement (95% success at detox, longer term 50-60% or higher?). The story being when he returned home addicted, then killed all his wives, the only wife who could survive being married to him is Scherezade, who told him stories every night for one thousand nights and one more night, and that is how many nights it took before he stopped wanting to kill her. He didn't because he wanted to know what happens next. Addicts probably need a better translation of the stories than the Richard Burton one that is most easy to find, I have one translated out of French by Powys Mathers and published by Routledge and Kegan Paul Ltd, London 1951. Maybe I should make a set of podcasts of myself reading from it,...all four volumes.

Go to recovery meetings! You’ll find out that when you’re surrounded by others with the same problems and are all finding the same solution it’s extremely helpful! Doing it alone is suicide imo... Don’t reply with an excuse of not getting up and going to these meetings! If you’re not willing to give it a shot for a month straight then you’re not willing to quit! Good luck and change your life!

In the US (or at least 2-3 years ago when I read an article about it in Scientific American) it was an illegal substance. In fact to the point that not even scientists, doing scientific experiments with it, were allowed to experiment with it.
In that article, if I remember correctly, they mentioned about a clinic in Dominican Republic that was active. But if it's not D.R., then some other country in that general region.
@@LV-426... yea there are clinics in Mexico, Canada, the Netherlands and others. But i was talking a website/company that sells it that someone has dealt with that doesn't rip you off. I'm not able to pay $7-10k to travel and stay at a clinic, but i would be willing to buy enough to self administer if i can get my hands on it in the states.
I have found a few sites online and already have found reviews claiming some of them to be frauds trying to take advantage of the drugs recent popularity and obscurity. Either people receive very low quality product or even no product at all, fake ibogaine, or give the site their CC info and money and never hear back from them. Pretty sketchy. I am sure there are dark websites to obtain it as i have heard many stories of people buying just about everything out there thats illegal from "silk road" type places. But i have very little experience with the dark/deep web and do not know where to even start looking as it seems to have to know where to go first to find such things, you can't just put it in a search engine as that is the point lol. If anyone can help me out or point me in a direction i would appreciate it tho.

But I need to find that article and give you some direct references from there. It has the names of the scientists working on this stuff and maybe you can contact one of them directly. They sure know a lot of legitimate info about the whole thing. I'll have to get back to you once I find the article and re-read it. I had stumbled upon it several years ago.

12 step is not for everyone. There are alternative groups such as SMART or Refuge Recovery. Others manage on their own, have a life changing experience etc. The only solution that works, is the one that works for you.
yeah but where can you find it in the united states, upper mid west like Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota or Iowa? or find a Doctor willing to prescribe it ? I have a sitter to watch over me and take my heart rate and BP readings for a weekend, what more do I need???!!!

Im from finland and pepole goes in vancouver or somwhere in canada to do iboga.
It costs yes ~fife G but here europe in denmark/holland its about ~2500euros and the treatment is four our fife days.
