She confessed later in an interview that every time she sang this song, treas welled up in her eyes and she couldn't help it. You could tell she was singing this song for all of us whose heart was broken at some point in our lives.
Singing is about communication. Not many singers can emotionally connect with the song and the audience at the same time; Sohyang can and does. You can see from her eyes that she was not well during this performance, she was recovering from pneumonia, hence why she was sitting down. Having said that, she still slayed it. At this particular event, she was feeling the effects of pneumonia as she always had relapses throughout her career after being treated for cancer, it was the same issue when she did the cover of You Rise me Up. She cared more about performing for her fans than anything else, she is a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart. You need to raise the volume to get the full emotional effect of her voice allow it to fully engulf you
She is very passionate and has a strong drive which shows. ☺️When I record it captures the sound and my mic as seperate files. Then in editing it can be reduced for copyright and to hear my commentary better. When I am listening I hear it a lot louder than in the final edit. I listen again to the videos I watch on hear that I enjoy without speaking too. 😃
