A video for this whole repair will be uploaded next week on the channel, as in this video many times the camera was out of frame while shooting.. thank your reviews . Will share the link here soon..👍
Im so happy to see such a full fledged DIY video, however did i miss the part where you replaced the small oil seal? Or was this skipped as the pump comes with only one big oil seal.
Thanks to your autolube diagnose video i learned to bleed my pump and put it to work. So thank you. I unmounted my autolube yesterday and did the same as you, and i can tell you are missing one springy washer at the bottom of the cog, unless it´s stuck there. Also, the inside of the axis has to be greased since it´s sealed and not fed by oil, the same with the pulley´s center. I don´t mean i know better than you, i just realized these two details yesterday and thought i´d share them with you.
Hi, you're welcome. You're absolutely right about that washer at the bottom part and the greasing of the shaft.this needs to be done. I too realise the same when I did repaired the pump of my another bike recently.. Actually I should be thankful ,for your crisp write-up that adds to the video 👌 We all are here to learn, and sharing is the best way it can be done.. thank you brother .
Bro, I am no expert but the way you fixed the big oil seal is completely wrong. You just placed it on top of the worm wheel(8:32) but it should have been tightly fixed to the plunger cover(top cap as mentioned). And moreover, we always change both the oil seals(big and small) every time the oil pump is opened for servicing but you didn't show us if you checked or not. I believe the small oil seal is good and working; otherwise your pump would be leaking once attached to the bike. :(
Thank you brother for writing this up.. it is either way we can fit the oilseal : anyways the oil seal will sit on the top cap once tightened. It's tested ,there is no harm and The reason for placing it on the rotor shaft is to avoid the inner lip damage of the oil seal. Only Main thing is the direction of the oil seal should be correct.. .
Absolutely these are very robust pump.. if it is still working without any leakages then don't clean it or even change the oil-seals please, my sincere advice.😊.
@@MotoTravelRide I recently bought and fitted a pricol rx100 oil pump on my rx135, but after a few kilometers rides, i have noticed that the bike is smoking way too much, this is because excessive oil is flowing into the carburetor. I checked to see if oil pump is set to high, but its actually set to optimal. I once removed the oil tube that goes into the carburetor to see if oil is being pumped while bike is in idle speed, and it is just slowly flowing into the carb. When throttle is raised it flows faster. What does this indicate? Kindly advise me here.
@@ragavvijayadev8900 this is how it works..now the smoke depends upon the quantity of oil pumped. If the smoke seems high, reduce it by adjuster from the casing ( by rotating it in clockwise direction) until you feel it is good..
Shake gently and pull ,it it'll come out..there isn't anything else holding it other than the gasket glue or the rusted shaft /wheel ( in case if it hasn't been used for decades)

No problem since 1989 ...but after watching this video thinking to clean it. I recommend to use Shell 2T oil
