How to build an EPIC frigate (space engineers) Design a star ship

today were going to try and build an epic frigate! this is just my personal design and id like to know what builds you have all created. ALSO I will discus what I believe the space engineers sizing chart for ships would be. hope you all enjoy leave a comment down below and subscribe for the subscriber wall!

So far I really enjoy your series.
FYI large blocs in SE are 2.5 m if you consider a corvette in real life is 55-128 m X 10m that's mean it would be 22-51 blocs long, the frigate average at 136mX 12m(54 blocs), Cruiser average at 360m long (144 blocs), but slimmer, 10-15 m wide; battleship average is shorter at 275 m long (110 blocs) but wider 15-20 m and the battlecruiser is a better version of the cruiser but not a battleship so it should be between your cruiser and battleship.

So I went with go big or go home, my ship is 250km long (100 ish blocks, 170k pcu) built in survival on ps5.
I spent 3 weeks building what I thought was a cruiser and now after reading this it is basically a battleship, I was wondering why nothing had dented it yet lol

When building frigates, the naval idea was if it couldnt fight it it can outrun it.

Dont stop to shoot because if somehow you bridge (command place) is destroyed the out of control ship will fly into the enemies ship

i would enjoy building with you if you still play the game . i have a open world idea so i will let any one join but i wipe the world at the end of the day inless it is a base / space port se we can build also spolar + batterys will help if you do not want to use nuke fuel or ice .. if i come up with any more ideas i will let you know also if you like find me on steam .

Just saying the image you put for the pillar of autumn is incorrect that's a marathon class cruiser you could of put either the pillar of auttumn or a halcyon class cruiser (the ship class the pillar of autumn is)

lol am i the only one that builds multi level bases underground and have gate doors that open and fire ? also why am i the only one that uses mass blocks for warping ?

@@lucaspatrick7478 well i would like to befrind you on steam so we can build/game to-geather . also yes i can move a lot faster using mass blocks . if you have it set up you can have your mass at x4 to x8 times your normal gravity if you se it up right you can have the set up to where you use little to no trustyer's at all if you would like to know/learn just ask . or here is an idea . ok place 4 mass blocks and then places down a gravity blok but place the base of the graivty blovk on the mass blocks .. in the idea is your being pull/ falling forword . so if you have it yo can places them down like this - forword above backwords and upsidedown and thenthe one on the right and left need to have there base one block out ans then have them set to thre oposeing g side left ones base is going to the right and the right base uping to the left . as you set it up you will see the falling effect will help i use the number keys as a use for this 8 forword 2 backwors 4 left 6 right 5 climb 0 de-send . just try it out also no need for fuel also work on plant side .

oh also the farther you place the gyros the easyer it will turn not only that you can make them stronger as well .all depends how fast you want it to move .

how long did it take you to build the ship?

Depending on how long you play during a day, then a good ship would be completed around 2-5 days. (Factors of building give this large of a window) Even larger ships may take longer. I just finished a Mk2 of one of my ships. It has taken me 2-3 days of off and on work.
