GORGEOUS ZF! - DAF SB220 With Engine Traps Removed

R981 FNW has finally had it's replacement gearbox fitted, and here is a little video and audio recording of what it sounds like with the engine and gearbox traps removed. If you think it's loud it's worth bearing in mind this was recorded from the cab, you'd be deaf sitting at the back ;)

Great replacement gearbox! Truth is tho.... It does need some adjusting (Gearratios and stuff... Which will make it sound even better *1st gear would like that especialy*)

Yeah it's a lovely gearbox, and the gear ratios are absolutely fine. First gear was using Kickdown hence why it held the gear for longer, the other gears weren't using kickdown so it changed up quickly
