Rest in peace Atsushi Sakurai. I've been listening Buck-Tick for 18 years, on my best and worst days. And now Sakurai is no more. Incredible emptiness inside... Dress is my favorite song 4 life...
He left a big hole in a lot of our hearts. He lives on through his music, tho. I've heard the rest of the boys are looking for a new singer. I adore that. Many have covered, in respect, but idk anyone who can come close, yet. Looking forward to what the future brings. Rip Atsushi. ❤💖💗❤💖💗💖❤ You were one of a kind and brought so many people so much joy. I hope the rest of the band keeps it up. He wouldn't want them to stop.
Thank you guys for reacting to Buck-tick, unfortunately sakurai san passed away on the 19th of this month and we fans found out two days later because his family wanted to do the whole procedure in private, I still can't believe sakurai is no longer here😢
I think you should check out Mudai (the Arui wa anarchy live version is the BEST performance ever). It's not the traditional Buck-Tick song that people usually request but it's a musical and lyrical masterpiece, and man, the things Atsushi does with his voice is just insane. I'm sure as artists you would appreciate its artistry. it's an unusual song even in the BT universe. Another really striking one is Long Distance Call, and Misshitsu. -- and yes, Yuta's bass is something different :) he's the youngest and smallest in the band but his hands work magic haha .) Bass players are so underrated usually. I'm glad you noticed him.
This past weekend, I was supposed to be in Japan, at Buck Tick's 2 night, 35th anniversary concert. But because of the travel restrictions, I couldn't go. Needless to say, I"m upset. Buck Tick is on equal ground for me, as Dir en Grey, easily my 2 fave ands. Buck Tick does not tour outside of Japan so my only chance to see them,(hopefully next year) will be going to Japan. They are also one of the few Japanese bands that have an International Fan Club, "Fish Tank" Like everyone else, I could list a lot of songs. My personal faves are "Lady Skeleton" live, and Romance (second song I ever learned to play on bass). If you want gut wrenching... watch the live version of Long Distance Call...a song about the last phone call he had with his mom, before she died. Side note: The drummer's mohawk is the unoffical 6th member of Buck Tick. They will continue to be a band, until Toll looses that mohawk.
I feel for you after reading this. Unfortunately Atsushi Sakurai is no more as I am sure you already know. I went to Japan a few weeks ago and also had hopes of seeing them perform live, especially Dress. One of my lifes biggest regrets now is knowing I will never be able to see Atsushi perform live. RIP.. and I hope you still go and see them as the band looks like it will continue on
The way they’re listening to buck tick kinda pressing my nerve in a way its a concept a lore you have to understand it and not bop that shit out (fans truly are toxic talking about me)

Legendary song
This was the opening of the absolutely beautiful series Trinity Blood.
It's a story about the Vatican and vampires, and everyone caught in between.
