I've listened to every minute of Patrice on O and A from every catalog that has him so many times over and over again....but I laugh so hard like it's the very first time always
This is one of my favorite segments with Patrice. Him just going after that table and the group of friends knowing they fucked up and going back and forth lol
He wouldn’t have been able to do it, given his history. He couldn’t commit to daily 5am-11 and corporate telling them what to do etc. plus he was too big of a personality to be a third consistent wheel. He’d been best with Ant and Jim, but even then I don’t think Patrice could do it without ruining the show. Ever seen an episode of tough crowd? Colin who knows he wants Patrice’s talent on air gets so annoyed and frustrated when Patrice breaks down the TV wall and gives faces and steps all over other people. He’s good at talking and yelling and would never have been a third mic But you’re SOOOO CORRECT that his radio talent is among the best ever. Especially talk sat radio where it doesn’t have to be so scripted and scheduled in blocks. His stand up isn’t as good and again nor are his tv appearances. Leads me to think he was truly impossible to work with and weren’t just jokes in the studio Edit: mainly just butt hurt that your solution to make the show better included ditching lil Jimmy and I felt personally attacked and hurt! Haha sarcasm…
